I am a diecast model collector in Toronto, Canada. It's a big passion of mine to collect from brand names like Hotwheels, AUTOart, BBR, Frontiart, TSM model, Makeup Eidolon and etc. I hope to provide detail and insightful reviews for you guys to enjoy. You are very welcome to comment on anything regards to the videos. As always thanks for watching.
Hey! I know this video is quite oldd but thanks! I'm starting a nendoroid collection now so telling some ways to distinguish between bootlegs and real ones without opening them (since when you're buying you can't really tell nor have a real one to make a comparison) is very important!
I've amassed a small collection of 1:43 and 1:18 MakeUp models. While Qualtiy Control rates 9/10, I must say the detailing is very good. My go-to in 43 and 18 scale. I have the :18 Huracan Performante in Pearl White 4/30. No one does carbon vinyl as good as Makeup. Not even BBR. MR is out of the question and AUTOart is a fail in that regard. Although the prices are slowly creeping up, they are better value for money vs competitors. Anymore higher, and I would have to look at buying more exp resin / diecast models with opening parts. I hope Makeup does not get too greedy.
I like it. I was thinking about getting one in this color. I still haven't decided yet between the blue, or this red. The silver one is more expensive. I wish it could be a tad more sturdy. The lightness for that amount money is kinda not good. Very good vid though.
@@vitzrsx I agree. The blue just doesn't seem like over time you'd still want to keep it. I'm leaning towards this red wine cause of the black wheels. The silver is slick too, just the fact it's more expensive loses me.
@@vitzrsx oh yeah man those were wonderful days to collect AA, I didn’t have much to spend upon but managed a few, now I have the budget, but where are the models 😅 Great reviews again! I got some models recently based on your reviews like the blue Nissan R390, orange Aventador and Pearl LCD Huayra
I am a die-cast collector, not a plastic collector. On getting an expensive model and paying their asking price, AA quality looks atrocious. If my model arrived in this condition, I would send it back. Personal preference but composite come on AA it's plastic, it's not for me; I would just buy a model kit.
Good thing I am not into newest and latest like Bbr or MR collection but AA's pricing is getting close to them. You can say they are just glorified piece of bbr plastic and fancy carbon decal n some PE parts that will have their windows come undone in a year or 2. In any case I will go for diecast-like still or their older releases.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster was launched at Geneva Motor Show 2017 with these silver rims on its left side and the golden plated inlets of the rims on the right side of the car. So LCD Models did a fantastic job to build this model in the launch edition style. It's an absolutely original and correct reproduction of the 1:1 scale car.
