This is cool (as usual in this channel). However the presumed Em is in fact an E dorian. Those who detest the modal headaches (like me) can just pretend it's all in D major.
Dorian is a minor mode so it's perfectly fine and correct to say it's in E minor. :) Moreover, the B part starting from 4:30 ditches the Dorian mode anyway. There are chromatic alterations, which means that the tune in its entirety is not modal.
I'm having a hard time understanding the chord Bm7+5, can anyone explain? When I google for *Bm7+5* the only thing that returns is *Bm7(#5)* , in this case is the +5 just an unusual way of presenting augmented 5th?
A section - fun to play in between the backing, sort of call & response, then B section smooth it out nice and mellow. Big props for a great backing track.
