SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE VIDEO The whole sequence regarding Walter is beautifully written. We find out that time in the Abyss is at least 200 times slower than on Earth (since a week of Taker not visiting translates to years of solitude for Beel and Walter). This puts in perspective just how long Beel has been living there, and it makes her change of heart more believable. We see that Walter genuenly cares about his lady, and that Beel, in turn, cares about him. They don't outright say it, nor does Taker take note of it, but it's revealed by the things they do for each other. That's good storytelling! And in the end, we witness Walter's slow and inevitable end. The final dialogue he and Beel share is, to me, simply beautiful. And after an eternity spent looking for a way out of her prison, the first thing Beel concerns herself with is giving Walter's remains a proper place to rest. I think there are few secondary characters, in foction, with whom the audience gets to bond as deeply and quickly as with Walter in this final sequence. The writers did a darn good job!

Ok…the art for when Pandemonica is sat down and is sipping her coffee…looks absolutely stunning and amazing!!! And it doesn’t help that she’s in my Top 5 favourite girls for HellTaker…she’s probably now my 3rd favourite
I like the ambition of this game, adding all the "extra" levels that zoom in and out with different vehicles but I can do without them. Nowhere near as great as the Genesis version. Did have some more story though which was pretty cool.
Nice oddity for the Gameboy Advance. The creators of World Reborn could not get a license to release their game officially so they instead released it for free eventually. Simple game, but I like the effort. It has story, rpg elements, different characters and side paths to take. Good ambition.

This is the US version of the game Gunbird that has been pretty much stripped of story and characterization. Also, look at that cover art for the game box, what were they thinking!? Just play the original game, it's much better in every way.
It was great, the golden age of gaming, before battle Pass, "Live Service", constant reboots/remakes, demagogues and lack of imagination that has made western gaming lackluster and boring.
Game has an Ikaruga feel to it. It uses a plus/minus system that lets you absorb some of the enemy projectiles to convert into your special for more attacks. There is also no collision with the enemy sprites on the field as well, fun game, if not a bit complicated.
That's what caught my eye. But Metal Slug is from SNK and I don't remember seeing SNK in the credits. Could have people who worked on Metal Slug on this though.
