Put up some batter boards on finish floor elevation. Run two parallel strings. Pick a starting point,a corner. Mark it. Measure your diagonal, mark it. Measure from that point down the string. Mark it. Now measure the other diagonal from that point. Mark it. Now measure down that string to double check that both dia measurements are exact. Its good? I didn't have any doubt. Easy peasy. Now just get two guys to line up the other two strings,on top the batter boards, over those marks. Mark the batter boards, put the nails and string. Now,run your forms. Many dif ways to square a building...that's how I do it.
The video is how to use a wall jack. They didn't show how they put in the door frames either, dang it! For what it's worth, nailing the framing to the concrete pad is a completely different issue.....and another video somewhere on YT. Thanks for showing how to use wall jacks. As an older DIY'er soon to be building often by myself sometimes in rural areas, I need safe and efficient ways to complete tasks on my own so this was nice to watch as I wasn't familiar with the actual tool usage or procedure. My search on how to use wall jacks brought me right to your video.
