$6500 tops . I don’t care what market you’re in , $9900 is a rip off and I hope your customer finds out how you took them for a ride . It’s contractors like you that make all the rest of us look bad . POS
40+ yrs in the trade tells me this guy is still wet behind the ears. Warrenty and local parts availability will tell you Lennox is a National brand with a great reputation. He probably doesn't like Lennox because they sell to dealers and not to the public. That gives them some control on quality. Give him some time he'll get better or go out of business.
@@JB-yq9bn Did I say that? Probably should learn to read instead or reading what you want to think into what people say. The guy SAID $1,400 in labor and then said it only took about 3-4 hours. pay attention!
pro here 30 yrs experience cleaning an dirty condenser is an Scam ..??? what > are you kidding me ? Than condenser was over due for cleaning & id love to see the head pressure before it was cleaned vr After cleaning
I use to have a grocery for many years and when may came around I went on the roof and washed and cleaned the ac unit on the roof! A clean coil ensures great performance of the unit! I had the right equipment and a pressure washer to do the job! If you don’t want to do it just simply pay someone to do it! Definitely worth it! It prolongs the life of your unit! Scam I don’t think so!
This is an actual maintenance like it’s supposed to be done. Not this $59 tuneup garbage just get your foot in the the door, and try to up sell what you should do in a maintenance in the first place. HVAC industry has brainwashed customers on this “tuneup” idea.
Like selling people a uv light the don’t need, washing clean coils, replacing a good board with some contractors and relay cause the can’t fix it, new unit because the don’t how to work on VRF. Shit I just described your videos 😂😂😂
I Look at his videos. All he do is complain about manufacturers. Keep doing maintenance because you can’t fix shit. You suck. Soap and water and a filter 😂😂😂 oh flip your drill you’ll feel like a technician 😂😂
What’s the delta T and superheat after you done. While not explicitly designed to only cool to 95 degrees, most air conditioning units are generally designed to maintain a temperature roughly 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature, meaning if it's 95 degrees outside, your AC will struggle to cool below around 75 degrees; essentially, they are not optimized for extreme heat beyond that point🤔
What a load of horse shit , 30 year pipe fitter ! 16 pounds of refrigerant?? Try 5 and 1- pound for line set. , what about the reclaimed Freon you took out ? Why would you ever change the condenser coil on a residential ac ? How old is the fan motor and compressor?? What a scam !!!!
The 1 thing he did not do is clean the Evap Coil where the Air comes up on the inside of the "A" Coil, to do that, you have to remove the Coil, but before that, I stick a Camera through the Limit Switch to view the Coil to determine if the Coil is impacted with dirt form not changing the filter on a regular basis.
Simple… once at the home, you claim customers needs hundreds or thousands in repairs… my a/c condenser fan motor had a weak capacitor and I couldn’t buy it locally without an hvac license. I pretend to be ignorant and call hvac for tuneup. They come and claim the compressor is seized and condenser fan motor is on its way out. Found out Grainger 20 minutes away has the capacitor and is open to the public. Installed it and done. Called a different company after that and without even grabbing pressure tools, they claimed the system was low on refrigerant. Gave me a written quote for materials and labor of $569… so that’s how they do it. They get called out for a tuneup and now they’re trying to get the customer to agree to expensive repairs. I did take hvac as a trait in high school so Im somewhat familiar with the systems, just don’t do it to justify hundreds in tools other than my multi purpose amp meter
