Mine tasted nothing like coffee. It actually smells exactly like pork rinds. Maybe somehow I messed up the roast, but I cannot imagine it tasting or smelling like coffee. I started with dried chickpeas. Wonder if I should cook first then roast?
I tried. It took nearly 45 minutes in low flame to roast chickpeas. After letting it cool and grind, mine tasted like burned nut. Why so? There's no smell and taste of coffee. Just burnt taste.Wasted half an kg of chickpeas. Plz help
