iwrwr yes it still is. In addition to these sound bugs, the core i9 is in fact slower than the i7 due to heavy thermal throttling. If you’re going to use both chips, the i9 and the 560x, you‘ll get the performance of an iPod classic. Keep that in mind, if you are going to purchase one of these so called „pro“ machines:/
@@werner2210 How often does it happen? People say that it is only occasional??? I have 1-2 days to decide whether to go for the 2018 or the 2017 model in terms of what's better and not the money. It will be i7 500gb and my main thing is music production. This is also what I study in college. How serious are these problems and how often do they happen is the most important thing for me right now. By the way are you on Mojave?
@@iwrwr I would choose the 2017 model, but only due to the fact, that there is no T2 chip in the 2017 model. If the logic board blews up in the warranty period, the AASP can recover your data from the 2017 model, which is impossible in the 2018 model due to the T2 chip. In case of performance, they are both heavily limited by the thermal solution.
If you are not using the chip performance you paid for, than you are going to be fine with both of them ;) PS: I got these sound crackling in my AirPlay Loudspeakers as well, in most other forums they say that this issue is limited to the built in speakers, which is not (at least in my case).
@@werner2210 So you confirm that the issues are not so frequent and you can live with them a happy life? :D I know that it's not only the internal speakers. If you connect headphones the issues shoud still be present.
