The only way to test the solenoid is to get the engine warm enough to get the solenoid to cut off air supply to engage fan or trick the computer to trip the solenoid

Would my fan constantly being on cause my temp to be 130-150? Seems to me it whould still be higher than that because i know alot of peope put a bolt in theirs to keep it constantly running
Ford recommends that you run 5w-30 if you’re in constant freezing temperatures. If constantly above freezing temperatures, they recommend 10w-30 or 10w-40 Oil is crucial in different climates for the longevity of the engine. Just read it in an owner’s manual the other day for an 87 460 V8
15 years ago my friend had this same truck. He took it apart and couldn’t figure out how to put it back together. He said if I could figure it out then he’d sign it over to me. I went to his house, figured it out, and drive it home. It was a tremendous piece of shit.

Yesterday I was driving home, too, turned on, fan clutch and started working. I thought maybe the solenoid needs to be replaced. I changed a new one. but still on I came home. And was about change clutch But then I started to rummage, the wiring found frayed under starter and it was all a problem. started working properly.

Shoulda just left the plywood on there & screwed & glued 3/16 4x8 aluminium tread plate along the sides & on that back wall then added the load track along the walls,Theyre just gonna get holes punched in it again from a loose load 4x8 3/16 aluminum tread plate was 80bucks a sheet when buying that much
My question is what if the fan doesn't come on at a certain temperature. Can it also be the vale that's the issue, if everything else that was mentioned does work?
Do you have or know a video repairing the lower part of composite side wall panels ? I have duraplate (wabash). Only need to repair lower 2ft ... seen it's possible on a repair site but no instructions

I actually youtubed Power Drive Inverter because smokes were coming out of mine too. I bought my in 2015. I used it for a month. I finally took it out of the storage yesterday and hooked it up and smoke came out instantly. This brand is trash!!!

My truck has problem when I turn differential switch on I hear air does something but only one rear wheel spinning on passenger side. What can be the problem? What's need be checked?
Try running a 300 amp fuse or breaker in between your positive wire near the battery and that fuse should pop or break before your inverter does. Extra protection. A 10pk of 300a fuses is like $10 so you can pop all those breakers every week and you’ll have enough for months.
My 3000 watt inverter blew up on me while having only 1 thing connected and that was my laptop! I heard a short arcing sound followed by a burn smell then my inverters life went poof! I check the safety fuse and it was popped so I waited the next day to test it since it happened @ night, the next day I tried to turn it on & it worked but the outlets didn't got any power only the usb connectors so it's only a big yellow block taking space on my truck now.
