The National Anthem of the United States of America The Star Spangled Banner Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming; Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there: Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In fully glory reflected now shines in the stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh, long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution! No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. Oh, thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved home and the war's desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust": And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
That actually made her sound better because it covered up the fact that she was pushing her voice so hard. You should've added some percussion though to illustrate all those tempo changes.
Somtimes its hard to hear yourself when singing into a microphone, so she didnt know how bad it was until social media because her parents told her she sounded great. It must have been a huge shock for her to see this. We now have an entire generation of kids that are ill-prepared for adulthood because their childhood was full of participation trophies, cancel culture, and outrage junkies. Childhood is not supposed to be about being shielded from disappointment and hard truths. Our job as parents is to raise kids who are equipped with the tools to handle disappointment, embarrassment, and the fact that life is not fair. Frankly, I think parents who hide their kids from unpleasantness are lazy. Kids will either learn it at home with guidance and love or they will get their ass kicked by life as adults. At that point, because they have developed zero coping skills, they are left susceptible to substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. As much as we want to wish pain away for our kids, it is unavoidable. Period. Do your damn job. Our kid's don't need us to be their buddies. They need us to be their parents. If you actually love your kid, and you do your job right, sometimes you will be unpopular. Grow up and deal with it.
Her father says he just wants to support her in this venture because she loves doing it and she loves the cheering crowds. Where was that oush for licensing parenthood? This is sick beyond comprehension. What he is doing to her is criminal. The damage is already done, she's going to grow up to be a raging narcissist -- and terrible singer.
A song version to commit suicide by! Or at least drive you there. I love the orchestration. Good job playing the many keys she goes through. TOO MANY. The players trying to hide their laughter got me good.
This hits hard!! 😂❤❤ thanks for making it better tho. That girl’s got a lot of potential. I hope she gets the training she needs for that passion she has :))
Classic case of the come up. The hand up given to certain people group, while the others have to be 110 % better and naturally talented to achieve any recognition. Don’t care if it’s a joke or some one says I made it about race. We have been dealing with this all of our lives beginning at the smallest of age. To be honest for most POC normal birth was a miraculous event. The smallest of deeds ,as presented by this post, brings truth to light. Own it, the truth will make you free!
This is a child folks.... Build uo not tear down! "Good effort Kinsley." "How brave to stand up in front of such a large crowd and sing!" All whom are making a mockery of this little girl will have to face God one day and be held accountable!
Oh my. Is this for real? I can’t believe someone picked this little girl to sing. If this was real, that poor little girl is going to be mortified when she gets older. She looked very pretty and she showed great confidence though.
Fantastic orchestration! It really made it more amusing to have some pitch reference. Great job! I do sub work and session jobs. I work with some songwriters who are no less talented but who can fill a club with their Facebook fans and family. I once had a club owner say, "yep! I hate his singing but he brings in all his friends and family and they run the register so high, I always book him back. "
Emma has already released this song (on her album "Interiors," which I co-produced), but it's definitely not out of the question that this version of it could pop up on Spotify-she and I have been talking about doing an album like this.
