Me Mumbai se hu lekin Delhi ki metro me bahot ghuma hu. Delhi ki metro Mumbai ke metro se kaafi acchi hai! Infra bahot purana hai fir bhi new lagta hai! Waha barish hone pe station aur platform pe leakage nahi hota! Aur unke paas waha pe special airport express dedicated metro bhi hai! Mumbai metro connection hai hi nhi accha wala! Delhi me itna accha connection hai ki start to end road pe utarna hi nahi padta! Its the best!
This is good but the biggest issue is the lack of planning, it's like making modern buildings anywhere you found space. There's no fundamental architecture that it is laid down before making buildings. Most cities in the US have a grid system, or European countries have roundabouts with diagonal streets and here we have no planning at all, really sad.
I still remember so much of protest by various environmental orgs, ngos & even fishermen joined the agitation.... in india so much of obstacles for any developmental works...
this looks hell... hamaare yahan city ki planning dhang se nahi hoti hai .... koi proper pariking facility nahi hai saari gaadiyan roads pe khadi hain, aisa lag raha hai jaise koi macchi bazaar hai..... aur ye hamaare desh k saari cities ka yahi haal hai,sirf isi city ki baat nahi kar raha mai.....
Baki sare cities me ho to chalega pr ye Mumbai hai Mumbai mtlb samajhte ho na? Ye Bharat ka Economic capital hai ise to world class hona he chahiye pr pichle 15-20 salo se mai sun rha hu ki Mumbai ko Shanghai jaisa bnayenge pr aaj tk wo hua nehi hai

Laterally speaking- Mumbai is the best in the West. And, Bhubaneswar will *EMERGE* as the Best in the East. So, in India 🇮🇳- *East or West, Mumbai and Bhubaneswar are the best.* Also, aisa bol raha hun, kyuki actually idhar bhi bahut sare skyscrapers ab aarehe hai. Mumbai's old British streets have pedestrian access but it seems the current government does not give importance to cyclists and pedestrians. A similar pattern is going on all over India. The government should promote cycling and walking more for the concern of the environment. Not all Indians have access to a 4 wheeler and they still prefer walking and cycling instead of a 4 wheeler. See how bad the condition of the old roads of Mumbai is under current govt. BMC is not maintaining the old roads. The condition of Indian Railways is also deteriorating. There is no point in building new trains or roads if they are not giving importance to the existing roads and trains.
