Tbh dream team was there when i was growing up and i was happy i grew up playing it along with the other M&L games and M&L.DT has good music and i love it for the amazing music and glad people recognize it for its music and gameplay so thanks for posting this video i love the music and good job editing the combo popups aswell

Now that I think about it, maybe that star was different from the other ones, why would Bowser want a temporal power up when he is already strong? The theory I have is that the star give a permanent buff after being over and that’s why Mario is so strong even without the star in the games and that he has the possibility of can defeat bosses without power ups in the rpgs
I mean he and Luigi have done that across their life, even way back then in Mario's head with King Wart, and he was gonna steal Mario's body probably for that reason! Considering they've fought King Bob-bomb (from what I know his explosion would be way beyond nuclear), Petey the Piranha, The Smithy Brothers (Mario only), King Boo (Luigi), Cackletta, both Shroob Princesses, Dark Star Fawful, Dreamy Bowser, and Papercraft Bowser without items (as you can technically beat them without items), can be scaled to Dimentio and Count Bleck fight with Paper Mario, and that they're Star Children, it's honestly not a surprise.
Who would win? A giant turtle king with spikes in his shell, an enormous size, incredible strength, and can breathe fire. Two Italian plumbers that are brothers, speak gibberish, and can press A and B at the right time. Oh, and also the power of the raimbow i guess.

Reminds me of a similar video, I saw one that didn't have all the same editing with the sfx or visual edits, but the music they used was Finale or In the Finale (? I don't remember, I think it was the final boss theme of Bowsers Inside Story
This scene is literally one of the sequences at the end of the boss fights in dream team where it's some crazy final attack the boss is doing and the bros just wreck them.
