Worst game i have ever played , its impossible to hit a straight shot on pro level even after 50 games practice i can not hit a straight ball at the start , NEVER
And idiots are praising the game now. So if I ask some guys to develop me a tech demo for $10k and I advertise it as a next gen incredible scape game, and I sell 1 million copies based on lies, I am not sued, because the promised content will be added in the next 6 years? Are these people real? Where is the limit what devs can pull off without legal problems? Because then any dev team could pull off this trick on their fanbase that they sell their games based on lies, and they will only give the promised contents after many years... I can't believe people really support this kind of behaviour of dev teams.
I still play this game. I had purchased this game back in the 80's and still one of my favorite. It's been ported over to Windows executable and still play this game. Still gives me that adrenaline trying not to create conflicts in mid-Air.

Anyone ever used "Hold at VOR"? I have just found out, after all those years in ATARI simulator, how it works. :-D When you order the pilot to lets say "Hold left at VOR", he continue flying until he encounters the tower, then starts to do the left turn forever at desired altitude. OK, perfectly clear now. But I've also found a catch: if you issue this command to already circling plane, it starts flying straight to find another VOR to hold at. So one cannot lower the altitude of plane at VOR, unfortunately...
I knew the framerate was directly related to the dial tempo, but I did not know it would shift it Something else I noted too a year ago was the higher the framerate, the more areas the dial has access to. Higher framerates make bad tempos less penalizing when they happen, while making perfect hits harder to get, while lower framerates make it easier to hit it, but make bad tempos a lot worse when they happen since they're locked accessing farther on the tempo meter
Thanks for sharing your experience! A couple of days I made a similar experience. Annoying behaviour. Now I will perform some more testing to prove that and I hope for us they will fix that in an update soon.
Any idea why the European region 2 version says Special edition on the back and the USA doesn't!!! Anyone know if there is any difference or added content in the European version?
I bought this game for my C64 and even kept the manual for a long time because it had codes to unlock the game at boot up. Another one of my favorite Microprose games was F15 Strike Eagle.
