im assuming it because they’re aren’t super reliable when it comes to gripping and or slide… i have no idea tho im not a climber unless u count climbing out of bed
I dunno at first dude didnt seem so sure. Im not betting my life on that holding but then again IM NOT CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN either. 99.9 % of the timr it works but with my luck im the .1% that doesn't. It could be raining beautiful women outside i would walk out and get hit with ugly dude.
So.. why are you doing the video at ground level.? Put your money where your mouth is bud. Let's see you do that at about twenty five hundred feet up.😳
Looks like they work! I don’t climb up rocks but I would imagine that if your arm reaches that little crevice then it can reach a few inches lower where you can hammer a steel spike. Mind you a hammer and a steel spike weighs more than this contraption BUT, surely you need to carry a hammer and steel spikes for those times you don’t have a crevice exactly 6 inches wide. Just saying. Asking, really.

These small nuts are generally considered as a get you out of jail card by most climbers. They are something you don’t want to place but gladly will when there is nothing else and you usually place one or two bits together, sharing the load. They are used far more frequently by aid climbers to make progress, with more serious bits of gear every couple of metres, and these used to climb on when the crack gets thin and just directly pull on.
