@@mattkeller5913 Yeah, parrying makes this boss pretty trivial. It's fun to do a playthrough without a gun every once in a while to have a bit more challenge.
@@adham7057 Hey! You can find many Orphan of Kos videos on my channel, in BL4, Max NG and with different weapons. Hopefully those can help you with the strategies. Orphan is pretty tough as you probably already know lol
@@ridjo181 I've been actually thinking of that for a long time. The gems i have at the moment are just what i've collected over the years, but i might do some farming in the future because why not
@@undergroundcorpsepile i mean to be perfectly honest i think you'd see a good boost in your performance cuz i feel like that 3rd gem you have is kind of a letdown; Chalice Dungeons are a way to go for them but i'm not really sure will you enjoy those
@solafmohammed3606 You need to do the Cursed Pthumerian Defilement to get the Ihyll chalice which has this queen fight for the trophy. But after that you also need some extra Red Jelly that you get either from Lower Loran or Isz Gravestone. I recommend doing Isz. And some Red Jelly is needed also from a chest in Lecture Building first floor. Before those you also need to do some other dungeons to get there, how many dungeons have you done so far?
@@undergroundcorpsepile thank you so much for telling me i cant wait to reach the queen, i have done pthumerian lower and middle, and ailing loran now im going start the defilement cursed chalice
So dope. I never thought to use the arm against this boss but it makes sense since the 2nd transformation has range. Depending on which weapon you use against Amygdala, it could be a hit or miss fight. I’ve experienced the tedious battle of R1 spamming on the legs doing little damage but amazing battles with range or long weapons and go for the head. I remembered I used the Moonlight sword to successfully beat it my first playthrough and turned out a great victory, but imma definitely try this whenever I replay it for the 11th time. Amygdala’s design is too cool for it to be a battle with its legs.
I agree. Definitely worth to fight Amygdala straight on instead of going for the legs right away, even though i still do that in the last phase. Some of the weapons are really tricky with certain bosses or enemies. For me, one of the worst when fighting Amygdala was Blade of Mercy, but at least it's a pretty fast weapon to use to get some nice hits on the head.
@@a22328425 You have to be as close as you can to that last dude, so he doesn't have time to summon the snake. If you leave that candle guy last, you can just hit him and he always dodges to the side after the hit, then do another hit and again he dodges to the side etc. You can just repeat that until he's dead as you can see in the video. That snake summon sucks, i usually just run as far as i can and do some good old panic rolling if that happens
“So I ripped off his own arm and beat him to death with it” “I don’t think that’s physically possible” “Yeah that’s what he kept saying” Amygdala: AHHH THIS DOESN’T SEEM PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!!!
@@brainafkstube5393 Lol, well honestly Max NG is pretty lame because you are so OP and able to play kinda loosely. Now, something like BL4 is much more fun and exciting
Thanks! Weapon is the Amygdalan Arm, that you can find from the DLC. But honestly Saw Cleaver is the best weapon in the game. If you use Saw Cleaver with fire paper and beast blood pellets and break Paarl's limbs one by one, you can defeat him very quickly in regular new game. Without the limb-breaking Paarl is pretty tough boss
@@undergroundcorpsepile thank you for answering and the tip im going to try saw cleaver im also having issue when he does the aoe electric attack when im beneath him
@@solafmohammed3606 Yeah that explosion is pretty annoying, you can time your dodge even when you're beneath him but it's pretty hard so i usually just try to roll away. If you break his limbs one by one you shouldn't have to worry about the explosion. Just use fire paper, beast blood pellet and first attack his right leg until he collapses and then move to other leg until he collapses again and repeat that to all legs, as you can see in this video that is from regular new game: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--t4lrKMwKRo.htmlsi=vHJzlmQHUyVqpk9R
@@undergroundcorpsepile after a day i finally beat him, i thought he is impossible thank you so much you are amazing i did what you said by hitting his leg he didnt even had electric anymore
@@Xer0x1119 Can you explain in what way do your graphics look worse? Not sure why that would be if you're also on PS5. I do have slight blueish filter i added afterwards to this video, but it just makes the color scheme to look more pleasant for the eye.
