I bought Iphone 15 pro this week and the back camera was so great and overall the phone felt good and was nice looking phone but had to just return the phone because the front camera was so bad compared to the Iphone 14
Thank you. Just replaced my 11 Pro 64gb with 15 Pro Max 1TB. I was gifted a Lumix S5 with 50mm last year but sadly I haven’t used it much. It’s great and all but I’m contemplating on selling it. I’m more of a run and gun type, and with the S5 in a cage, I don’t really like taking it everywhere with me. The iPhone with this app, case with ND filters attachment and smaller/lighter accessories maybe a gimbal, it suits me better. We’ll see.
The other Saramonic options include a button to press for mute. It is shocking how few wireless lav mics don’t have an easy mute option! I streaming and I cough 😅
I have a 16 pro and I noticed that all of the footage does not look very sharp and that the focus assist turns off anytime you hit record, which kind of defeats the purpose. Am I missing something? Also a lot of digital noise.
Hi, excellent video thank you. I just purchased an iphone 15 pro specifically for my business which is building gaming desktop computers and selling them online. However I seem to be getting the same issue as my iphone 11 when taking photo's for the adverts. The RGB lighting on the moving computer fans is coming out blurred and not clear in the pictures, also the colour representation is not accurate at all, the luminance of the RGB in the computer i'm taking photo's of seems to be overwhelming. I'm a total novice when it comes to photography, wonder if you could offer some advise please?
Hi Simon, I really enjoy your videos - so thorough and well presented. I noticed that the BM app (and also the Filmic pro) doesn't do as good a job as the native iphone 15 pro max on the 0.5 for macro shots - for example for the exact same shot when I switch between the native to the BM app it doesn't seem to capture at all well - it struggles to focus and much less detail - why is that I wonder? I am finding for macro shots the native app is better unless I am missing something...?
Thanks 🙏 this is what I do but I can’t control shutter or ISO on the native IOS app so I am struggling to do any decent macro shots. Why can’t BM do this if Apple can? Just wondering? Would you agree that for macro video I am probably better off using a DSLR given these limitations?
Thank you for such detailed video, Simon! I have an issue with black magic camera app on my iPhone. I hope you will see my message, bcz I can’t find a solution for my problem so far 😢. I deleted from Blackmagic camera all the videos I took, but memory of this app is still full. How to clear the space of the app? 😔🙏
Hi Simon, very helpful video. ! I followed your video on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but no focus button showed on my screen. Did I miss something or can you advise please? Many thanks. Terry Davis
Thank you for putting together this informative video. I'm interested in the Video Creator Pro but each time click the link it opens a page then all of a sudden it goes somewhere else. It does give the user the time to read about the course.
When I toggle on DisplayLUT the camera displays everything neon red/blue. Also I don’t have an option for Same as Caption under Color Space Tag. Why to both?
thank you for your tutorial; I wonder if it is possible to manage the depth of field, to obtain the bokeh like in the cinema mode of the native iPhone app?
Among all other videos I've watched that demonstrate the anamorphic lens, yours is really looks good and cinematic 😮 I guess the colour grading is really on point 💯
