Hey man this build seems pretty cool, I've got an e36 also I'm engine swapping a Ford intech inline 6 4L into mine. About to cut out my boot your video doing it gave me motivation to finally do mine.
@@Its5AMGarage what camera do you use or any recommendation? I kinda wanna document my build since I don't think anyone has done the swap I'm doing before
@@rxpo I use a sony a7sii the sony zv-e10 is a good option just look for a camera that has 4k 24fps, and removable lenses and I have learn having a camera with build in time-lapse is much nicer, my older videos where shot on go pro that also a good option.
what transmission do you have, getrag or zf? i am looking at the selector rod from odessa with the shifter but see that standard zf selectors have a bend with odessa does not, not sure if that will be an issue
I have factory getrag, I don't think it would be a problem, but regardless it would be super easy to set the length and add a little bend if Clearance is needed. From what I found bend is for added clearance, also that being said the odessa selector "rod" itself is thinner so the clearance is probably already gained there.
@@Its5AMGarage Thanks for the info, thats a good point, it does look super thin so clearance may not be an issue with the larger guibo from the zf. Thanks man great vids!
Could do 2 things wheel spacer or odessa makes a steering rack limiter, mtuning.pl/product-eng-263424-Steering-wheel-spacers-BMW-E30-E36-E46-Z3-ODESA-CNC.html?query_id=1 I do both of those things with allows max angle without rubbing on full lock I imagine a wheel spacer might be all you need.
Been thinking about doing something like this to my 8th gen Si civic, got hit by the guy who owned it before me, hand to bend the trunk hatch back & more needs to be pulled before anything's cut away
I asked on IG but and couldn't really see in the last video, did you weld the odessa e-brake straight to the trans tunnel? or is it like bolted / rivet in? Love ur placement but idk how im gonna mount it
