I read that this band uses Conn 20J 6/4 size contrabass tubas, which weigh about 29 lbs. I own one, and it would be a chore to march with it. It was interesting to see how the performers in this band position them while marching.
Well apparently I know Phantom Burst, Cheer 1-3 and the Hey Song then. My HS Band played them my Senior Year last year. It was Fun actually especially getting also the Opportunity to also play ESPN again due to Copyright Issues. Also my Middle School Band Director & HS Band Director Graduated from JSU plus Marched in the Marching Southerners as Well. So he use a lot of apparently JSU Shows & Etc.
@@blackbetty6568 I'm an alum living in California...I marched t. sax 74 thru 77, section leader 76 & 77. I haven't been able to attend a performance since 2014 so i love seeing these great videos from back home. Thanks, again and keep up the good work!

Seeing Fitzpatrick Hall in the background is haunting. I'm 50 and that's the dorm I stayed in my 1st year 1990, I was a transfer Jr. I so wish I could go back and redo a lot of things.
This is so cool. Makes no sense the relevance but compared to West Brom singing Psalm 23 and England Rugby singing Swing Low Sweet Chariot, at least Gamecocks can fly. Lol
