How i did it: Step 1: download devil may cry or any platinum games hack and slash Step 2: Learn Royal Guard or parry timing in general. Step 3: Play zzz and have fun everytime you as so much see the enemy charging up In all honesty for a phone game this does so much better than DMC:POC which is miles worse than ZZZ and only good for seeing DMC characters lol
Im definitely going to be using chain attack cancelling in the future, tho Im curious as to how it fares damage wise compared to using the chain attack, since even if you still use the chain attack but just before the daze ends, the rest of the chain isnt gonna be getting the 1.5x damage boost
for the thanatos enemy (the enemy that does that 3 hit teleport attack) you can dodge counter him with the first hit if you are quick enough and he won't do the other 2 attacks, it doesn't work on some characters ant the timing is pretty tight but it is practical enough to be used in actual gameplay
@@SolessSolXSI actually done it on mobile but you have to move the left thumb to the right side of the screen and use both the left and right thumbs to press the dodge and switch button at the same time. Executable, but inefficient.
I just discovered the switch tech after playing for a while. Quickly using piper skill and then swapping to Billy obliterates anything weak to physical I thought parrying only happened if you swapped at a certain tkme 😭
Isn't quick assist the only way besides chain attacks for Soukaku to share her buffs? By the way, I've done parries at the same time as I did skills or Ellen's dash attack, with a dodge counter it's gonna be tricky.
I believe so! If you check out Rehoo's video he goes over that some characters don't list anything about quick assist in their kits like Soukaku and an example of that is Lucy liked I used in the video! Also yeah the DP Assist timing is tough even for me
Enemies that can be juggled exist in endgame as well so you can still use it but you don't have to. Just a cool layer to combat to make it fun honestly
3 Things you need to keep in mind with those tip you mentioned. 1. Stalling the Chain Attack: If you keep an enemy dazed for long enough their stun state is greatly shorten. So you don't want to keep them dazed for too long, but just enough to get certain move out when needed. Look Up Roa "MAXIMIZE your Damage by mastering these 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙨!" Swap Heavy Hit section around 4:56 2. You don't want to always use DP Assist. For the simple reason that the Assist Point(the amount of time you can parry), is limited. With bosses taking away 2 or 3 points per combo, you realize how valuable of a resource Assist point is. As I continue playing the game, I am finding that I am mostly using Parry when my origin character is in a middle of a combo and will get hit. This allow me to finish up my combo without getting hit. Also I noticed not many people mentioned that there are two type of assist. Defensive and Evasive Assist. Defensive Assist Block damage from happening, but cannot be trigged by unblockable. Evasive Assist cannot block damage from happening, but can dodge unblockable. 3. Quick Assist can be triggered by all supports and only supports right now. What is interesting is that Lucy in her kit doesn't say that she trigger quick assist, but she actually can.
The double counter is tricky. I feel like sometimes its also enemy dependant. I find its easier to do against boss enemies whose hitboxes are a lot more active.
Hopefully, some of this tech is helpful for you guys with understanding the game more and making it more fun! Congrats again to Carsngo for winning the Battle Pass giveaway! Be sure to message me to claim your prize as soon as possible!
Hey dude, thank you as well for the prize! Though, I already have the battle pass and is fortunate enough to also pay for future battle passes, so I feel like this prize will be better off for another player. And again, many thanks!
To be honest i don’t understand how people are so mad the game feels “too easy” like yeah bro the game launched a few days ago, we are in the early stages of the story, of course the monsters aren’t that strong. And to be honest that’s great, because it gives the player freedom to combo with their favourite characters rather than be forced to quickly obtain the best high tier character through endless grinding and money spending.
Wow, what a video, it said everything, it's incredible how I see in the comments people complaining about the combat and the mechanics and I seem like the only son of a bitch who liked it. Damn, it's very satisfying to make combos, and see they improve, the fluidity in the animations, discovering mechanics, ways to defeat a monster or boss, Just now, I went crazy when I made an insane combo of Ellen + Lycaon abusing the freeze and Shatter mechanics or even trying the other ways to enhance the disorder tech... Apart from the songs, which are excellent. I'm loving every minute of the game, are there any problems? Yes, but they're making a big deal out of a teapot
people who need the game to make them do something is exactly why this industry is so stagnant 😑what happened to giving yourself a challenge every once in a while?? what happened to going the long route to find new special things
The TV mini game can be a little annoying and cut scenes can get a bit lengthy but combat and everything else I'm really enjoying it's a decent free to play game.
You know this kind of reminds me of how in dynasty warrior games like pirate warriors and had in Kingdom hearts. 3. You could stock up your specials or your keyblade forms so you could pop them off back to back and then swap in as you please. And this makes the combat shine a lot more than it did before
Wuwa player trigger warning: I will stray from the narrative. Wuwa did not invent dodging, also it slowing down time is a system added for casuals to hit dodge attacks more easy. The parry system activates way to easy and gives a free dps window”feels like a casual system” souls like hologram fights is a bad comparison imo because running out of stamina or stamina management is not an issue. Wuwa being the best gacha doesn’t automatically make every other gacha trash/mashy. I someone who enjoys wuwa the most right now, online commenters overrate this game way too much.
I've tried to watch a few people on twitch and I end up leaving when they start rushing through to level up super fast then get to the weeklies and say they're at end game.
Well, Hoyo succeeded at making a game with low entry skill level and higher skill ceiling. They just failed at promoting it properly and teaching the player in the tutorials and story mode.
It does feel like the game has potential to be a DMC-level action game, but Mihoyo has done everything they can to ensure that it can't get complex enough to reach that point. Yes the game started to become like 20% more fun for me when I incorporated switch cancelling, and believe me I would LOVE to juggle enemies, but most of the time I can't because the enemies are either un-jugglable, getting dazed, or dying outright due to juggle-able mobs having low HP. It would be nice if the Daze state actually made enemies juggleable rather than have them stay grounded. Maybe even just have it put the bigger enemies off-balance a bit to give the feel of being juggled. However, the mechanics greatly favor the playstyle of mashing attack until you have EX special or a counter window to exploit, so enemy control just isn't as important. You WANT them to be attacking you so that you can trigger those assist parries.
Wuwa is significantly less fun if you don’t swap cancel, thats not something the game teaches you. I don’t see people trashing that though?? Like if you dont like the game, fair enough thats fine, but at least keep your critiques consistent 🙄
I'm actually pretty surprised how deep the combat seems to be. I am not really much of a fighting game player, I came to this from Genshin Impact which I do OK at but am really still a casual players. I am trying to actively avoid button-mashing but I seem to be having a few issues. First, I am stuck on the first Reputation Rate Up trial. I remember back a year+ ago I had the same problems in GI though with my last GI account I breezed through it (I've leveled up 3 Genshin accounts), so Genshin is my only real comparable experience. What I am finding is that on both PC and Mobile, I have no problem with key clicks, meaning like when my E or Q in Genshin is ready, I can click it and it goes off. But in ZZZ When my skill button is purple/ready to go, I find on both PC and Mobile I can click the button and it just doesn't go off, and I wind up mashing it to get it to react. Is this because I am animation locked from previous inputs?
There isn’t. The presentation, art. Cutscenes are top notch. The rest is nothing. It’s mediocre at best. How long will people accept mediocre games as a norm?
Right on!! Handholding was the word I was trying to remember; I was telling the ZZZ detractors how the game lets you be creative with your moves only if you proactively find those in the game, not being spoonfed to you
I am so glad I found this channel. I was doing these things from the beginning due to me playing FF7 rebirth and tag assist fighters before this game. If they let you stack two anomalies together, actually make the difficulty good in the beginning, as well as a bit more energy per day, this would probably unlock the game for more people. This is an assist fighter combat rpg imo.
Coming to this video later after getting a good handful of hours of the game under my belt and I do find that all the criticisms are completely valid. I just think the people who are riding the game off so quickly are being exceedingly. Hyperbolic are definitely putting a sour taste in the atmosphere of the game. If I like you in a couple, others are doing a good job of not being shy to talk about the criticisms but aren't dooms speaking the game. I'm really glad to hear that the final boss of the main story is a part of that difficulty that really starts to pop because to me that's very similar to what happened with Hong Kai star rail where the majority of the game was either very easy or I just needed to grind a little bit one evening to continue the story and then finally I actually had to really try at the end of the game 1.0 Again, I see a very fair criticism of wanting the story and the initial experience to be more representative of the entire game, but I also see that same argument of wanting someone to be able to come home play through the story without feeling like they have to lose themselves to difficulty. I'm always going to be in the camp that more difficult content is worth waiting for as long as you're willing to experience the story and the game on its initial run. But if you can't really click with it even at its core or worst, then honestly, I don't even think hardcore content would end up fixing a lot of people's problems with the game. Lastly, I really do like the TV mode. I understand it was too much in betas in the past, but again, like you said I feel like people are letting their feelings towards the TV modes and where they were before affect too much of where it stands now. Still not going to be upset if they cut a little or revamp the TV mode a bit because I do like the system. I'm very open and willing to see it continue to get worked on. I would not want it to be completely taken away
very very agree with you about people who complain it just button mash and force them to learn combo like wtf man? they complain because game handhold them and then they complain the game not forcing them to learn combo? make up your mind smh. Pretty sure people who complain button mash just playing at early level which is every gacha game do ( early game is easy) tell me which gacha game that have hard things under level 15
I watched people play the betas and my first thought was Devil May Cry. There's a Monster Hunter speed runner who pulled off some crazy stuff in ZZZ. Your points are why I'm frustrated with certain people in the Monster Hunter community. You have people doing SL1 runs in souls games, but in MH, we got people refusing to do challenges if they find the game too easy. Then put down people like me who find the game challenging.
