@@bigfootmountainvacation you can’t add multiple cell cameras per one cell plan. You can add remote cameras that link to your cell camera so that you are running multiple cameras per plan, but you can’t run more than one cell cam per plan.
I just got a J series camera but i am having issues finding the IMEI and the IDDIC numbers. The cell link or cell menu option is not on my camera. Any help would be appreciated.
J series cams are intended to be used as remotes to a cell camera or a home camera without service. It does not act as a cell camera so those options would not be displayed in your case. You’d have to buy a G/K series cell camera in order to transmit pictures to your phone.
I have the same problem of deer seeing me or spooking at the visual change when the windows go from closed to open creating "black holes". I do not believe that the stick on curtains Banks sells are a practical solution. Has anyone tried shoot through netting on their windows....comments?
There are ways that you can fold the curtains up or cut slits in them so you can see around you without a bunch of movement. We haven’t personally used the mesh net solution but you can get creative with your own blind to try and figure out what’s best for you. Do you leave your windows blacked out or use the Camo side of the curtains?
You need the 360 hunting blind I own both and I would never buy anything but a 360 no blind spots, tinted windows the deer can't see you, way better and quieter window system.
We don’t usually run a heater in our blinds with the insulation you stay fairly warm with your body heat. The windows do fog up though sometimes so you’ll need some paper towels or a microfiber cloth or something like that.
Hey i got a question. Where i hunt i do not get signal so i cancelled my cell plan and now my camera will not take pics. Do you have to have a cell plan for it to work, or do you have to set it up different? Please help
The curtain and blind kit offered are not that useful. They really need to come up with a shoot-through mesh similar to the pop-up blinds out there. There is a certain time of the morning that the sunbeams into my windows and makes any movement from inside the blind highly visible from the outside. I purposely switched up to a 18" barrled rifle from a 22" because the deer could actually see my gun from 50 yards out when I stuck that through the window. After buying some mesh camo last year, I mounted that inside the open window area and the deer never notice any movement at all now. Great blinds, just need better engineering in the window concealment dept.
We actually sell them and they’ve been running into a problem just like every other company with getting their materials in. The supply chain for shipping and everything else is really out of sorts right now.
In the Cell menu there is an option its called Cell Rate which sets the time that your cell cam will send the pictures to your phone. I set mine to send every hour because it keeps the queue from backing up and the pictures come in pretty consistently. As long as something walks by them in the hour, but if you didn't change the cell rate then the default is every 12 hours so that might be why you're not getting pictures.
If you don’t have a cell camera what camera can you set as your “home” camera? I saw on their website they have a “home model”, do I need to get in order to have a home camera to have all images sent to? Or can I have say two or j or g series cameras and have one of those be the “home” camera? Also, will your home camera also operate as a camera as well? Thanks for your help.
Yes, you can set any camera you have as the home camera and it will still take pictures as well. It just won’t send the pictures to you, you’ll have to go pull the card from the home camera.
Man I just got these cuddy links. There photo quality is complete shit. I have older cuddy I love. And are way better. I got them all set to 20mp. And. If deer are more than 10 yards from camera. You zoom in on photos. You can't even tell it's a deer in the field. Totally disappointed
Are you looking at the pics that are sent to your phone or ones on the card? They only send you a thumbnail version over the phone but when you pull the card they are crystal clear.
@@coreylukes2390 I mean my cell pics are a little blurry but I can still see what they are. I don’t know maybe you need to change the settings on your LEDs so that you get a little bit brighter night pictures.
Yeah the cameras have to be armed and connected to the home camera for them to send. You have to go to the link menu and go to CL lvl to link them together.

I watched your cuddeback setup for the k series, i just got mine and set it up exactly like you did and the test came through perfect but not sending pics on my phone, i didnt upload new firmware do you think that is the issue, i thought it was just where i just set it up to pay with cuddeback because i did walk in front of camera after i set it up but almost a week later still havent recieved any pics, i recieved a text this morning a 4 a.m and it was a test that i didnt do, my camera is on my lease! Do i need to load new firmware for it to work??
No you do not need the new firmware for the camera to send pictures but it wouldn’t hurt to try and upload the new one on there. I don’t know why it wouldn’t be sending you pictures if the test came through. Do you have a pretty good cell service where you put the camera out?
I know at my house i have good enough signal and i tried it here 3 or 4 times before i took it to my lease and didnt work either, not really aure on the lease.I put it up on a high point, so it could get the best signal possible
Do you have a video walking through accessing the photos? is there an app, does one of the cameras have to have wifi? I'm confused on how to access the pictures on the home camera?
No you add the phone numbers or email addresses you want the pictures sent to on their website. In that cell management portal. You can access your pictures from that, or right in your text messages on your phone.
My local gun so just got a minute for 799 and it's a really nice product great both bright everything these guys did an excellent job putting this together 4 hunting blind keep up the good work gentleman I'm definitely going to go buy one
How long does it take for a G series camera to link up with the cell home camera? I feel like mine have been blinking for a long time even though they are right next to each other.
Michelle Nichols it should only take a minute or two to link make sure they are both have the same firmware downloaded because they won’t link unless they are running the same FW. You can check that in the commands menu pretty much all the way to the end it will say FW version followed by a number.
Epicenter Outdoors so both the cell camera and the remote camera my need an update? And if they have the same update will they link no problem? Because I did the update on the cell camera but didn’t do it on the remote one and it finally showed 99 good.
@@michellenichols5561 the remote cams might already have the update installed if that’s the case if it’s reading that you have a signal you should be good to go!
@Samuel Arndt so the problem most likely is that you might be trying to put the whole update folder on the card. You’re only supposed to put one single file from that folder on the card other than that I don’t know why it wouldn’t update possibly a camera issue maybe something with the card port. If you want to call tomorrow I can walk you through what you need to do with that file. Thanks- Vinny
Why is it " Unique" to make everything inside as an option. You want it to be Unique, make it all standard. I guess its just one way of making more money off of these very high price hunting blinds.
Hey Stephen! It makes it nice for people that want to save several hundred dollars on a blind and/or just don't need particular options.... they make a Whitetail Property edition that actual includes all the options!
Really good stuff here. Having a hiccup adding new devices in the portal. I have the K camera home unit and bought as a bundle with 4 J Series cameras. When adding the new remote units, the J Series model is unavailable. Only G Series. No luck trying to jam it through as a G Series...Any ideas?
Matt Maurer you don’t add the Js to your portal they will be on there when they connect to your cell cam through the link menu! The K would be the only device added onto your device portal. I have a cuddelink video adding the j series cams too if you wanna check that out it’ll help you.
I have CL Long Range IR Model J-1521 I have solar/battery back up w/reg and rechargeable batteries and have dead battery message,replaced all batteries with new and same message Battery dead.I cannot operate the camera.These are about 3 months old and hasn't taken more than 100 pics any suggestions or factory reset.
Yeah I would probably suggest taking the batteries out and letting it completely die make sure it’s not flashing with battery dead symbol and then when you put new ones in if you should be able to go to the test menu and find reset and hit that to reset your cam.
Lavishpuppy7512 Lavish when you go into link menu under commands the first option it says home remote or repeater just make sure it’s set to home and you’re good to go!
