Thanks for posting this! About to start a job that uses 3dx after spending 10 years in v5. Watching tutorials and seeing all the clicking and menu scrolling was looking very irritating.
I got catia 5, do you recomend I learn it well first and then 3d experience or are they very different? I'll rather not waste time , spend hours if 3d experience is better.

So I just have a very specific question: There’s a little yellow-highlighted symbol on many of the component icons in your tree. What does that little icon symbolize?
Hi! Great question! The yellow axis on the icons mean that either the Assembly Instance (in this video) or Part has been repositioned, using either the compass or constraints, from where they were initially imported.
Love this! Is there a way to globally set all users default Tree Names for their first time use - so they don't have to? (obviously they can modify their own later)
