First they say it has to be Pre trimmed, and they show him trimming the sheet. Then he installs untrimmed sheets and then double cuts on the wall. Makes no sense.
I can get crazy this kind of fabric or any wallpaper when I have to cut off the edges. Why they don't cut in the factory with a machine for perfect cut? I studied the painting and decoration three years in the school in Europe. And I've never met wall covering when I had to cut the edges. I was just finishing a job in Manhattan yesterday with a same kind of fabric wallpaper. And that fabric wallpaper company wrote this to me : " When hanging laminated fabric, apply the adhesive to the paper backing. When hanging acrylic backed fabric, apply the adhesive to the wall. " I have one question. On the video you apply the all section with adhesive and you let it almost dry. It is possible to stick the woven walkover on the wall when the adhesive almost dry? And please let me know how could you make a nice double cut on the wall with that trim on the fabric. I think it is impossible to make double cut on fabric because it strechs. Thanks!
clay base adheisive , dry hung ... ONLY !!! all material cut on the table using a zinc plate and a 6 foot straight edge ...use olfa blue blades only. use lots of them ... snap twice while hand trimming 8 foot cuts... or 9 foot ... hang from right to left if you are right handed ... do not get paste on the face side ... coat walls with clay 2 to 3 times , let dry between coats .. last coat nice and tacky ... make money brother and have fun... rep from maharam told me , she never seen their material hung as well as my job .. she came to see a problem i had with one of their fabrics , their were 7 patterns on the wall for her to see on my job .. she asked if i would train ... should of taken her up on it ...
@@kevinmiller4796 Thank you! Perfect describe ! I guess with this system is one room is taking one week. So you recommend the Roman Pro 774 or 732? These are clay based but commercial grade as the video also saying. What are you using?
