Hey Everybody! Welcome to Channel Donstar. This channel just began as a place to post my short films that I've made in the past, theater performances, as well as films by our production company Iconoclast Films. Those include videos from 'Greasepaint' ,''Broken Warning' as well as all the archived videos from our feature film 'On The Downlow'. I am also constantly updating my catalog of Blu-ray and DVDs in a series of videos called 'Defending My Collection'. You can also find movie reviews, or anything else wacky I decide to post. So welcome to the new visitors and subscribers! Hope you all have a fun time here at Channel Donstar!

Thank you! Be safe! Be well! Be you! Have a great day!
No, no, no. John Hurt wasn't in this movie. It was William Dennis Hunt, who was also in Chaplin and a few other movies. He died recently. IMDB is your friend. One reason the effects look so good is because all the live action was shot on 16mm film - while the effects were done in 35mm.
It DID have some good ideas - the zodiac signs not seen before in a space scene, and why couldnt a Space Ship look like a Swan? again breaking rules, All very dream like, using jazz & organ type slap stick music also worked as an idea as this is so obviously a comedy.
Also I thought on the 1st viewing, this could only have been made by an adult film studio, it's so near to being hardcore & for it's style the lack of budget etc blurred photography etc
Yet again a film they could ONLY have been made in the liberal 70s or perhaps 6os. I have to admire it's daring, originality, & imagining (especially this being American that they risked being sued, by a Hollywood studio .especially bearing in mind how sexual it all is low budget for sure, BUT good animation effects & some...not bad patchy production design, to this day a unique film and a first, as surely as say A CLOCKWORK ORANGE is. I never thought this film would get a review especially so many years after, as it's mostly buried by the sands of time.
Great blast to the past. I grew up there, family had the diner kitty corner to Gertie’s. Saw my first movie at Colony! Star Wars, I think. Gertie’s had the best ice cream and the very best hand made caramel apples!
Brilliant review dude of one of the most batshit crazy movies ever I was working at the cinema and they did a one night only of this and Kentucky fried movie I swear to God I’ve never laughed so much and now you can get a media book from Germany and 50th anniversary so yeah going enjoy it again dude on Blu-raycheers mate
Hey there Roger D! Looking forward to seeing what new content you've got planned. Can't believe your selling off the collection my friend, but I understand why you feel it's time. Take care and hope you're well.
Hey Roger! Roger is selling some quality merchandise! I've bought some fantastic films from him! Worth the trouble of going to eBay and seeing what he is saying.
Great to see you again , you were the one who got into collecting 3d blu rays , back then , with your "defending my 3d blu ray collection" series , and i always come back and rewatch them again , once in a while , when i feel down . Edie Falco is so good at playing unlikable characters, part of me thinks she must be kind of a B in real life. I've hated her in everything she's done. The show was simply brilliant minus the Laurie Metcalf episode which I can't get thru.
Chambers is one of my favorite horror films from my childhood. I think if more people knew of it and checked it out it would become a classic-it’s really well done mixing a balance of camp and drama. Patrick O’Neal’s character is kind of a proto-Hannibal Lector, and Caesare Danova and Wilfred Hyde White are likeable as the wax museum curators-turned detectives.
I think in his younger age he was married ..i don't know have any children, i think he got into the drugs & drinking heavenly she divorced him & he still drinks off & on with poor diet , that's why he couldn't stays in hospital & couldn't wait to get out , he don't watch his health & diet .. & his close family dismiss him, i guess he is & was trouble person throw his life didn't care about his life & heath after all looks like the whole family just put him on side
