Interesting, though I still had to replace the LCD on my 7202 because it had dirt behind the touchscreen and certain spots were unusable. Anyway, this is an issue also prevalent on certain Toughbooks, I believe I have it occur on my CF-18 with the GPS module. GPS often uses COM ports, similar to a serial mouse, and I've been under the impression the computer is interpreting GPS communication as a serial mouse.
I just went thru this with a piece of pork chop 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the Coke trick didn't work and I ended up in hospital to have it removed. It's caused by 'Shatski's Ring' in the esophagus restricting food from passing. There is a simple medical procedure to stretch the ring - which I'm having done next month

Dell laptops are sh*t. This type of problem could easily be solved by having a little pinhole to do a battery reset but they are too cheap to even bother putting it in. No user should have to do this - ever.

I just experienced this for the first time. The exact experience you described. I ended up vomiting until the big piece of meat came up. It had a big chunk of fat on it and it was pretty tough. Had to learn this lesson the hard way.
Why would you do all that? You only need to remove the battery unclip cables then from front rmove keyboard frame and unscrew from backplate. No need to remove the motherboard at all.
Hey dude, I would like to change my palm rest for this exact laptop. Would this be a similar method. I did my keyboard already like this video and it worked out perfect. I wasn't aware that I could purchase the palm rest separately so unfortunately didn't try install that when doing the keyboard. Let me know cheers bud

Do you know if it's possible to upgrade a 7540 with the 64whr battery to the 97whr? They appear to be different voltages and connectors from the research I've done.
