Yeah crossface cradles were huge and just being able to stop a takedown if you can get to a crossface you shut down someone's offense and then cradle or get to their back
Your building the kingdom kicking people in the face, wake up brother, read your bible, your ignorance of the scriptures is obvious, i mean no disrespect, but seriously its laughable, , welcome to Hollywood Christianity
In a fight for my life after being a 3 time state champion and 5th in the country ill never forget coach Theodore Reese he pushed me to reach levels beyond my limits. Hes now passed but you carry his message with the strength of Christ, in a dream he has asked me to reach out to you and with this comment ill let God decide whether we speak or not. "Hands that dont work make you poor." Prov.10/4 Please help me wrestling is life for me.
Zane is an amazing athlete and man. A godly man I had the opportunity to have Zane at a few of the Greco-Roman camp. The coaches and athletes enjoyed the time working with Zane. He is an easy guy to cheer for
Best teammate i ever had since we were about 10 yrs old. Always pushed me to the fullest.. Thats why i still til this day have never given up. He always had a positive mindset. We dont talk as much now as we grow unto our older era's but he knows how much i respect him. Much love brother. 💪
Well said Coach Slay, the biggest of Earthly treasures are not enough for that void only God can fulfill. I never achieved me athletic dreams, and had to settle on this belief. Else, I would view my wrestling career as a loss. I believe through loss, I have gained understanding and how to be a better coach. That is our great commission in my home. Spreading the gospel through wrestling
Winning doesn't define us, only faith in Christ can. We can't all be like JB, beating most of our competition for years. Even JB has struggled at times. So if winning is all we strive for, and we fall short: then what? We can be devastated. In Christ, I am on the winning side!!
As usual, Furtick inspires us with story's. Thought I'd add a bookend with a great illustration of, “It ain’t over..." The setting? The NCAA wrestling finals in 2002. Go to the 2:10 mark. The announcer says (presumptuously) that the match is all but over and Josh Lambrecht is soon to be the next national champion. But... …then Rob Rohn, who is down 14 to 2, comes from behind with a move called, a “Cement mixer” and actually pins Josh. In the Bible, that's called, ‘suddenly.” Embrace that if you’re thinking things are over. They're not. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KYna2mqtXqU.html
