@asadzeethree2726 thanks . Glad you like ! What a beautiful top car isn't it . A great find and unusual spec. Still the rare hub caps . Interior was very good too and low 101000 mileage . Regards Michael
It has all the hallmarks of a car that has stood for many years, hopefully in a dry location. Be very careful what you spend recommissioning. On the plus side it's a Spirit 11. Good luck.
@chrissmith6954 not like these . This was the flagship that had been sold for decades. The Flying SPUR is just a mid range and first incarnation was based on the lesser GT. There's nothing like this from Bentley now sadly, regards Michael
My favourite car if i live in UK, a, incredible british colour and cars, with i think a intressant history with english gentleman, but in Italy where i live no, I'm not will ruin this masterpiece of class with a Italian numberplate...
@giuliopedrali4794 many thanks and interesting point about the number plate . Yes , some different plates don't suit it as much . I'll try find out the colour for you. Might be Cardinal Red , kind regards Michael
@@michaelcoleman9198 Cardinal red : amazing, I love Rolls-Royce cars and in particular the Silver Spirit than also in Italy should be find at 20.000 / 30.000 Euros price, a Ford Focus price, but it's a regal car only for british landscape, in Italy, but I think also in continental Europe and whitout the nice yellow brit numberplate seems only a wedding car or tycoons car.
FANTASTIC, MINT LOOKING IN MY OPINION, LOL, STUNNING 7 BEAUTIFUL, I AM A SUCKER FOR THIS GENERATION ROLLS ROYCE. GREAT VIDEO REVIEW, THANKS FOR POSTING.
@commandertopgun aaaahhhh , thanks, really appreciate it ! Yes , I love this era too ! Should look even better soon too. Going to give a really good polish and feed the leather . Thanks again and kind regards Michael
@commandertopgun I was very lucky . Bought it from an older guy who was 88 . He'd looked after it but it was now becoming difficult for him . He still has one Spirit and is deciding whether to keep that one or sell it . Interesting guy who'd had a lot of cars at one point it seems .
Absolutely! And thank you ! I'm going through my collection and finding bits I bought so long ago I forgot I even had . Great to be able to share it with people so they can see too. Thanks and kind regards Michael
Thanks, yes , the colour is gorgeous and the cream leather to die for . Plus contrasting leather on steering wheel. It makes a massive difference as I've seen them in black with black leather and really doesn't do the car justice! And must be so hot in summer, ha ha ! Not great for a car used mainly in summer like we do ! Ha ha
Ha ha , certainly have ! It's actually way older then me at roughly 60 years old. Really love it and great solid piece of motoring , model and film history, kind regards Michael
This us quite an old book isn't it? Ive read it. Theres a newer one i want to get hold of, i foget the author but he was a tv investigator or something.
You're right! Well built and very simple to maintain! Much prefer cars when they were like this in the main. Looked so much better too ! Still looks beautiful all these years later and full of character, regards Michael
The w215 is a classic design. The 216 looks like a jelly bean. why do you use the club on the steering wheel? I haven't seen one of those in over 20 years. I don't think thieves want to steel these since the parts are not commonly used.
Absolutely ! Not sure where you live . Sadly in London literally every car has one ! It's open season for car and petty crime here and everyone knows it !
What a great collection to pick up! I have been buying Elvis stamps for years at record fairs and other places where stamps are sold but have not got all the stamps released as some of them are little more than stickers, put out by third world countries who produce stamps purely as a means to raise money, because they know that stamp collectors will buy certain themes, and Elvis is probably one of the most popular. Countries such as the USA, UK, and Australia have put out one or two limited editions of Elvis stamps which are much more valuable if you are looking for value. But your collection is very interesting - I have a few of those in mine.
Thanks and really interesting what you say. I had no idea about that . I'm glad you liked and I was super pleased when I found this collection and glad I can let other people see them too. I had no idea these stamps existed till I discovered them . One of my favourite Elvis pieces I have. He looks amazing, such variation and different era's and looks , kind regards Michael
I bought this when it first came out and read it within a few days. Steve Dunleavy was well known for distorting facts and the three men who wrote this book said later that much of what they told Steve was blown out of proportion to make Elvis look dreadful. So I took it with a grain of salt, like a lot of other books that have been written about Elvis after he died.
@@michaelcoleman9198 I myself have a small collection of old- school Rolls_Royce and Bentley vehicles. But my favorites are my 1995 Bentley Brooklands, 1996 silver spirit mark IV and 1999 silver Seraph with the BMW V12 engine. But being a member of the Rolls_Royce and Bentley club over here in New Zealand . I have experienced many other members cars, including new versions of Rolls_Royce and Bentley vehicles....
