@@TheAllflower fell off in terms of quality or upload schedule? If it's schedule, yeah sorry, been sick a lot recently. Seems like I'm on the mend though, so hopefully I can get back to regular uploads. If it's quality, please let me know, I don't want to put out substandard stuff
@Dragonfly9078 the amount of hatred I have for vivsiepop and her amalgamations of "shows" equals to the dependency a plant has for water and sun. Anyway you have good content and I don't wanna diss you directly I just hate vivzie
Omg this is so impressively well made and encompasses so many details for both of them!! I would’ve never originally thought of shadow sorc for Stolas, but Strength of the Grave especially is such a creative and accurate approach to the Goetian immortality that’s bypassed by holy weapons! “Eyes: Red, four of them” and “Height: Tall as shit” lmaoo. 💀 Blitzø’s rope of mending and perfume of bewitching infusions took me OUT, alongside the primal savagery comment and giving Stolas fucking acid splash for the iconic water bottle moment. Loved all the spell and skill choices, and the clips accompanying the builds are so fitting! D&D 5e and Helluva Boss are both current special interests of mine, so I was Very Excited to see them intersect here with my favorite characters so well-encompassed in 5e builds. I’d always be interested in seeing any more Hellaverse builds if you might plan on doing other characters-maybe Alastor and Lucifer as some fan favorites with magical abilities that could really fit certain D&D subclasses/races/spells? Tysm for sharing either way! :)
Here’s are some ideas for a new list 1 . Fireren 2 . Destoroyah 3 . Baneblade 4 . The black marauder And here’s a second list 1 . Doom slayer 2 . Gigan 3 . Behemoth tank 4 . Goliath tripod from war of the worlds Goliath Ok there you go have fun you amazing super hero
Hmmm....Athlete maybe? +1 DEX, climbing doesn't cost extra movement, only need 5 feet of run-up for long jumps rather than 10, and can stand from prone with 5 feet rather than half your movement
@@Dragonfly9078 I'm honestly surprised you haven't done the really big names of DC and Marvel. Dark Knights of Steel and 1602 are ripe for their own builds.
@@Dragonfly9078 Well.... heheh.... it kind of reminds me of a Herengon kid hero I played.... but I gotta get this off my chest. Tulock quit, which means all the characters he didn't make are up for grabs.
@@Ubermensch9240 yeah, I was sad to see that. He's the one who got me into doing this in the first place. But if he wasn't enjoying it anymore, good for him
It does, and I generally prefer Colossus slayer, but since GBH specifically buffs against big targets I went with the one that reflects that mechanically. Especially since nothing else seems to care about enemies being at least Large
Depends on the campaign I suppose. If you're fighting primarily Large or bigger creatures then Giant Killer is a pseudo extra attack. I split it the way I did to get all the subclass stuff on the table and because Primeval Awareness/Giant Killer seemed like a less satisfying capstone than Flame Strike/Holy Weapon. You can split it however makes sense to you
@@Dragonfly9078 I mean you could’ve technically gone to level 5 of paladin then Ranger then continue paladin and still get holy weapon and flame strike as a capstone.
Haha how does this not have more views. I dont care if it’s not 100% accurate to Hank Hill in the show, it’s a great story and a wonderful character build.
I can’t remember if I’ve recommended this guy before but how about Beast Wars Megatron, I’d prefer staying base and Transmetal 1, but if you go Dragon mode Transmetal 2 as an upgrade as you level you can.
If you flavor using Guardian armor as wearing the Ecto-Skeleton you could justify wearing heavy armor bumping your AC to 16-18 depending on type, +1 if you use enhanced defense to justify it transforming with you. And since it doesn’t require strength thanks to the feature, no drawbacks.
yeah, the intent is for the Ecto-Skeleton to be full plate, so 18 AC and 20 with both it and Otherworldly Guise. Meant to note that in his AC on the character sheet but it wouldn't fit, and I forgot to put it in the equipment section. The 15 is Mage Armor from Armor of Shadows, for when you don't want to have the big suit or when you have to leave it behind while Spirit Projecting
If not for the fact that the shield spell isn’t on its expanded spell list, I’d recommend Mark of Sentinel human, though getting shield of faith added to artificer and warlock spell lists isn’t bad either. And he does have a mark, the D on his outfit.
Yeah, Mark of Sentinel is a viable option as well, just need to shuffle ASIs and cantrips around a bit. Downside to that (apart from only getting one Shield per day) is most of its spells are concentration based, which is a pretty big bottleneck for him
@@Dragonfly9078indeed, though you use them when needed, at early levels I don’t think you have to many concentration abilities and anything that bumps your survival chance up is warranted.
i thought you were going to use the gloomstaker ranger :P, but this was a very smart way of puting this build, with a lot of feats too, wich is a good pun as sniper is the second tallest class in the game, behind heavy obviously, and hes high is 6'1''~2''
If you are making a build for DnD as a character to "play", I'd think this would have glaring issues. 1. Going with the "chair prone" older years is not really condusive to an adventurer. Later, you could have him get a lingering injury and then a flying carpet to allow him the necessary mobility. 2. If you are going Bard, which is a Char caster, its mechanally idiotic to have Char less than Int. It should be the prime stat and/or go with Wizard. While I see why you wanted Bard, and seems reasonable call...knee capping yourself on your Spell modifier doesnt scream most powerful telepath on earth....
If that's the way you want to build him, then by all means! The wheelchair thing is tricky to represent and a flying carpet would certainly be effective, but I prefer not to give these builds outside magic items if I can help it, so the Find Vehicle/Chariot/Lingering Injury combo was what I came up with. As for the CHA vs INT thing, you're definitely right that mechanically CHA is better for Bards. My thinking was that for character reasons his mental stats needed to be high, with WIS the highest, then I figured that since he had stuff like Silver Tongue, Diplomat, and social skill Expertises, those could compensate for having CHA be slightly lower, allowing INT to be slightly higher. You could easily move around an ASI to boost CHA though
@@Dragonfly9078 I think for an NPC build this might be a reasonable build...but for an active adventurer, I think not being able to walk and hamsting your casting stat seems like it would be a bad idea.
@@shadowmancer99 I mean, yeah, probably, but that's what I went with. You're welcome to build him however you like, this is just my interpretation of the character
I liked it, except the math. Alchemists don't get their infusions until level 2 and elixirs until level 3. This is incompatible with Ranger 18. Did you take artificer for the spell list? I need to watch this again.... Oh, i see. It's UA. Alchemist Wizard never made it to the official list. Not that it matters, but a heads-up would have been nice to reduce confusion.
