I got a free Craftsman T2200 and got it running and found that it must have transmission problems as I couldn't get it to move either. I will look for a broken part like you did.
Of course, look at the belt and all the drive pulleys and then also look at the pins in the axles to make sure they have the little metal spacers(I forget what they’re really called)
Maybe someone else can answer as I don’t have it with me, but it seems like as long as the blades aren’t running you can step off of it Kind of like a seat on a riding mower
Problem with standing mower straight up is oil drains out and into combustion chamber. Just my opinion but works for me,get the mower on a home built 24 in high table.Lift mower from the wheels on one side.My table has 4x6 x 8ft corners,I just rig chains to hang hoist.
Good afternoon! I just purchased this mower and I am struggling to find a replacement side trim piece. I'd also like to know which bumper is that? I'd like to purchase one of those also. Would you happen to know where I can purchase those items?
The 1641 was made by MTD, but that is known as the Cycolps series, they’re the last that were still utilizing the old IH design with just operating improvements over the years.
If it’s a 1641 model Lee. I could not quite see the number, it is not international, it’s MTD. Nice F30. If you noticed the cables, they apply the brake when turning to help the tractor turn. A buddy of mine has one of those Farmall 240’s. Nice looking tractor. Great show Lee. Thanks.
As edwardlittle5541 said, I have this same exact mower. Unfortunately, after doing all the work you showed, it is still very hard to start. I also replaced the spark plug and installed a new air filter and fuel filter. 🤔
@@MurphyMower Yes, mine does have the automatic choke, so that is another possibility, but I don't really understand how it's supposed to work. I don't suppose you have a video on that, do you?
I do not have a paint code and in the past when I touched up I just got whatever I thought was best in rust oleum That was several years ago, so I really don’t know the color match Let me know what you decide on. I would be curious as I have one of the GT 6000 with the onen that needs that done.
By ring does he mean a rubber O-ring..? Fixed mine w/ a tiny little rubber O-ring.. Didn’t need a rebuilt kit. Didn’t need a new gasket seal for the bowl. Make it easy on yourself and just do the work that needs to be done.!
I have to tell the truth I was incarcerated in the state prison system and one of my job was outside maintenance with meaning we had to keep the prison grass cut and etc etc.... That John Deere 725 is what I was using to cut. Man let me tell you that is a good lawnmower. The guy that was in charge was Mr Jim Davis. He showed me how to cut with it. And it was brand new when I got a hold of it😂😂😂 I always remember how sounded like a 88 honda accord because my mom had one
Great video Lee. Nice tractors. Fun game. Never seen that one before at any events. Sure like that Allis Chalmers. Thanks a lot. Great game for garden tractors. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Do NOT do this with a carbide blade which appears to be what you did. Those carbide tip can come flying off with so much force that the personal protection you are using will not protect you. Buy a saw blade without carbide. Plywood blades work great in this application as they have small teeth.
Look as if they would do the job. I made a solid tow behind wooden roller 2ft in diameter and used palette planking 3ft wide drilled with 5 inch wood screws drilled at 3 inch intervals through the individual planking pointing outwards. Cost next to nothing, bar the time and a box of screws. Hitch it up and run around the lawns prior to a rainstorm and the next morning - works great.
Morning Lee , I use one of those cheap HF 4 1/2 inch grinders with cutting wheel BUT I like your way better because you are cutting more material and cutting faster . 👍🏻
Many thanks for directing me to this video. I don’t see any reason why a fabricated one would need to be kicked in, just make it square. How long is the slot in that bar that connects to the lift arm. My rig is a 20HP Kohler GT Craftsman, it just won’t die, 25 years old. Hope my zero turn last that long.
I don’t have that with me right now, but I would make it probably an inch and half longer on each side than what your base is But I think you could buy category zero pens from tractor supply and bolt those in for to hang on as well
