Thanks so much for watching! We really enjoy it so much! My husband grew up camping but I didn’t. Now I hope my boys grow up and we all get to camp together with our grandkids. 😊
We are campers too! ❤ Ours has bunks but we are looking to change in the future and just use the pull out couch bed. The bunk is definitely not comfortable for an adult 😂 And my goodness yes you need a bigger refrigerator wow. You definitely realize once you go camping what you like and what you really need for the next upgrade. Nice pole barn you've got there!
Oh yay! So happy to see so many enjoy camping too! Yes I couldn’t sleep in those bunks for sure! The refrigerator is my biggest problem with this camper right now. For the most part it’s fine for us but if we’re all inside and trying to move around it gets really cramped. lol luckily we’re just usually in there to sleep so it works out but we are keeping a running list of things we want when we upgrade and a slide out is on there!
We have camped my whole life..raised our 3 boys camping..we camp with family as well. We leave next week for our annual trip the Cherokee NC in the Great Smokey Mts. We go where it's cooler in the summer. 35 yrs at Yogi In the Smokies. On the river where we tube all day. Sit our chairs in the mountain river that's 42 degrees and stay all day!! It's fabulous..we have 12 camp sites. It's a wonderful week. I love camping videos.
I love that!! We enjoy it so much and I hope our boys grow up and we get to camp with their families too! 🥰 I love the Smoky Mountains but we’ve never taken our camper there. We should definitely do that! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope y’all have some great camping trips!
Hello there…we are fellow campers! We are in Arkansas and have some lovely campgrounds. If you ever come this way, give us a shout. It is always so much fun to be out camping. Love your garage/shop for your rig. We house our camper in a storage garage. We love that it is indoors and out of the elements. However, it is soooo expensive. Wish we had land at our home to build a rv garage but maybe one day. Glad you all had fun and enjoy your time next week. We plan to be out too…excited! Be safe.

We love camping. We stay at a seasonal spot in the mountains of Pennsylvania, about a hour from home. Makes it convenient for us. It’s not a very big camp ground so it’s not over crowded. We do enjoy the activities they have for the holidays. My daughter and her family camp a few spots down from ours. We love having all our family together camping. 🏕️🐻🌲🤗
What a great space!!!!! Back covered porches aren’t common here in Minnesota but I love them so much! I told my husband if we ever build a house that will be something we include! Love your videos!

Your home is so pretty your cabinets aren’t terrible they’re nice but a lighter color would be nice too. Your bedroom looks great I would leave it alone.
Thanks so much for watching! ❤️ I just cant bring myself to paint those cabinets! 😆 I may try painting the walls in there white and see if that brighten things up. I think it’s just so much wood in that area and seems dark.
I have kitchen cabinets very similar to yours. I have also debated if i should paint them. I CAN NOT do it! The wood is so pretty and i think if i painted them i would end uo regretting it. I actually painted my kitcheb burgundy and it looks beautiful with the cabinets! Burgundy is not for everyone, but i love how it looks with my cabinets. All that to say, maybe if you found a wall color to complement the wood, you would feel less compelled to paint the cabinets.
I am the same way! I have talked about it for years but i just cannot bring myself to do it. 😅 I bet different paint would really make a difference and for me maybe even just painting the walls white would help brighten it up! Thanks for the suggestion. I’d much rather paint the walls than the cabinets any day!
Beautiful home! My kitchen cabinets (and floors) are similar color to yours. I have a similar backsplash, different counters. The designers say this wood color is out of style, but I am a conservationist. If it is in good shape--just clean it, fix it up. My cleaners just rubbed oil on my cabinet faces, and they look so good. Your cabinets look clean, so you may have already done that. Painting your kitchen walls white might do the brightening you want.

@@ourhoustonsmithhome My countertops are gray with black mottle, granite (I think). I see it in a lot of model home videos. The previous homeowners installed it. From the prior owners, my house is a mix of cool gray walls and countertops, and warm wood cabinet and floors. I like the mix, and receive compliments from visitors. I have the same whitish wall trim that you do. I want to repaint the walls a lighter gray, but ran into some issues (so on hold for now).
@ourhoustonsmithhome My sister pointed out the mix in cool and warm neutrals to me, and said she liked it. I do like it, myself, and it makes it easy for me to continue to use my 40+ years of collected furniture. I am going to purchase new wall art (that makes more sense for this house), but that is a lot less expensive than furniture. I took my old wall art to my work office, and it looks great there. Win, win.

@@renatemarek1498 hmmm the sanding would be messy and you’d have to paint by hand with brush/roller but it could be done inside! Especially some of these furniture paints now like Fusion Mineral Paint aren’t very strong smelling.
@@ourhoustonsmithhome I do have a patio, may need to do one chair at a time and figure out if the table will fit out there, but I really want to do it! I don’t care about having g to sand by hand

Hi! 😊 Thank you so much! We are enjoying the chairs. I think they are very comfy and I love to sit & rock/swivel in them. lol The only thing I can say is that the recliner part was very stiff and my kids had a hard time getting them to close at first but I think they are loosening up the more we use them! It was the best decision changing our formal dining room over!
Can you think about doing a flip on a white piece. You know how they put wax on the high lites & paint over it, Then sand & the white shows( on the edges)? Kind of antiquing? I have a set of nice solid wood with dove tailed drawers. I would like to flip it into something I'll enjoy a little longer. Just a thought for a future video. Not to give you more work😂
Great job!, I am looking at these videos of clips to freshen up out dated furniture. That took alot of work & I'm proud of you for doing it. We can put whatever hardware we would like, I'm surprised everyone was complaining about the hardware. Oh well even the negative comments count.😂😂😂 They have no idea of the work you put in it to make it come alive again.
