23andme dna test or any other dna test is a joke. It is totally inaccurate due to the fact you only get dna materials from 2 parents ; but after 20 generations, we all have more than 1 million great....great grandparents. Most don't show up on your DNA results.
there are many filipino nationalists out there who want to stamp out the spanish and american colonial period..people who ddisregard their history will never be able to move forwrd
Assuming minimal cousin couplings, that means that one of his 32 to 64 ancestors 5-6 generations ago was a full blooded Spaniard. That is not to say he's a Spaniard, just that there was a Spaniard at some point in his lineage likely towards the end of the Spanish period in the Philippines. This is totally expected since Spanish colonization and immigration to the Philippines ended 125 years ago. That's about 6 generations.
vietnamese means absolutely nothing. Chinese names the region "Southerners" which is vietnam in Chinese language. Vietnam is just a name that Chinese gives to that region when Chinese general arrived there about 2500 years ago.
My mother is a Jamaican and she’s mixed but my dad is from Canada and he is half Jamaican. I was told my dads side is Italian and my dads mother French Canadian native Indian like nipping 7th generation Métis and my room ancestry test that’s not 23 and me , did not show the Italian in me but say I’m native Indian but don’t tell me that much but ancestry keeps updating randomly then I Saw Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 in my dna on my grandmas native Indian side that’s 3% . I did found out that my grandmother was taken away by her mother and put in a church and the nuns in Canada treated her very badly and later found her family but I’m very confused. Can I pass for Sri Lankan if my dna 🧬 is 3% or more ?. I want to buy 23 and me and I am confused about my dna . I’m not sure what’s the truth who I am . I am born in America Georgia. Should I wait to get the 23 and me test ? 12:53
Those results is coming from a board result only for the majority that live in a certain country it does not take account the minority group that don’t integrate with the society as the hill tribe so it’s not really accurate when talking about the Hmong people.
Hi! I will be traveling to the Maldive and staying at the same resort. I wanted to ask you if you took any prior permission for using the drone? Did you face any difficulties regarding it? Will be really grateful if you could help. Thanks

Great video! I want to buy my tickets for Sac this September. How was your experience? Did you get a confirmation email right after you bought your tickets? :)
Hi! I know this comment is old, did you ever buy tickets? If so, when did you get confirmation?? I bought some but haven’t gotten a confirmation email yet. Lmk!!
Your Native American blood and European blood may have come from the “galleon trade” Spanish galleons would trade between Philippines and Mexico. Mexican sailors who had mixed Spanish and Native American blood may have come to the Philippines and had children with local women. Spanish trade between Mexico and Philippines went on for 300 years so it wouldn’t be surprising if this kind of thing happened.
@@Dude-gx2ul you must not have seen the video. It’s about actual DNA. You know, science. This person have native American and European DNA is a fact. I’m trying to give an explanation of why some people in the Philippines do not have 100% asian ancestry. Of course you can be stupid and not acknowledge that different groups have come into the Philippines and pretend we are all “pure bloods” like some Nazi. Speaking Spanish is not indicative of anything. Unfortunately you must have a poor education.
No, It came from a Spaniard, not a Mexican Mestizo, many indonesians also possessed a native american bloodline, yet never interacted with the Mexican mestizos.
@@rodrigoo147 Filipinos are NOT Spaniard decedents STOP DREAMING and living a LIE!...You are ASIAN! ...1% Southern Euro doesn't make you mixed theres a 1% margin error in all DNA test...Mestizo are LATINS. . ,Filipinos are NOT mixed....Mixed is when you have Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Native American and at least half of your DNA is European...1% Euro is NOTHING!
I also tried it . I thought It would be 100% Filipino but the result is 65.7% Filipino (Philippines) 15.3% Iberian(Portugal and Spain) .9% Chinese(China) 6.1% British and Irish (United kingdom) 7% French (France and Germany) 3.5% Native American (Mexico etc.) 2.5% unknown I think it's because my mom was half Filipina And probably my grandparents on her side is also mixed. My dad is very originally filipino
han chinese in South China got ancestry from ancient people in South China during han chinese conquest.. as known as Austronesian people today.. we all know original han chinese their eyes are small, and dont have double eyelid and deep eye socket.
I though she would be Cambodian. Something from that pennisula. Vietnam and Laos are neighbors. He looks Filipino so I didn't question that. Paternal haplotype D is fairly rare. I think yours, D-L1366 (i.e. D2), is the one that back migrated into Africa and the Middle East. Meaning your ancestors stayed. You can get health results for free if you upload your raw data to wegene com/en. Then switch to the Chinese version of the site using a browser that can translate the page.
There is no spanish there, not even in blood or architecture. They try to associate themselves to other ethnicities because their people has done nothing. Their biggest achievement was being colonized several times.
I don't believe 23andME, Ancestry.com DNA, or MyHeritage DNA when it comes to Asian ancestry. They have the least reference panel of Asian ethnic groups in the world. I took a DNA test from DNAConsultants.com back in 2007, and they said that I am predominately Filipino with Japanese, Chinese, and Cambodian ancestry. I also took a DNA test from National Geographic Helix DNA test, and it to said that I am 40% Southeast Asian&10% East Asian descent (I'm half Filipino half European American btw). Which makes sense b/c my mom said she had an ancestor who came from China to the Philippines back in the 1800's. Plus mytrueancestry.com also detected my Asian DNA matching with ancient people living in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia over 1,000-2,000 years ago. So I know for a fact I have Japanese, Chinese and Filipino ancestry because DNA companies like dnaconsultants.com get their reference populations directly from Asian countries showing it me on my DNA Fingerprint Report, and they even publish their data reference populations on their website. Anyway, there is one DNA company that tests specifically for people of Asian descent, and that company is called GeneLife (based in Japan). So if you want to know if you have any other Asian ancestry other than Filipino, next time your in Asia, you should test with GeneLife. I plan to take their DNA test next time I go to Philippines. They have more reference populations from Asia (obviously since it's based in Japan), where as 23andME, Ancestry.com DNA, and MyHeritage DNA does not. Here are the links for GeneLife DNA test and a youtube video of Singaporeans discussing their results (these Chinese Singaporeans have more diverse Asian ancestry than they thought). Since Filipinos were trading with people from Japan, China, and Mainland SE Asia over 1,000 years ago (as depicted in the Boxer Codex), we Filipinos are also ethnically diverse (even Jose Rizal had Japanese and Chinese ancestry). So you should check GeneLife out sometime. sgshop.genelife.asia/products/genelife-generations-ancestry-dna-test ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FJ5Sh0heJ9E.html en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxer_Codex
