does NOT FIX the drive!!!!!!!!!! just erasing the identification of the problem!!!!!! Great software! but very misleading to say it fixed the drive!!!!!!!!!!!
Will give it a go, full format takes too long, i am sure full format will wear out the hard drive and that also hides bad sectors. Which is what you want because bad sectors cannot be resolved. Lucky though my operating system is on another hard drive which has 97 percent health. Though sometimes with large files there can be data corruption over good sectors. Then deleting the file will solve the problem. Though i have 3 drives on my desktop. I think the 2 good ones are the WD green and WD blue. It was the WD black which is faster that is corrupted. Though have tried disk check, which goes on for 2 hours then says cancelled. Just need to do a quick back up first, as it has bad sectors. Even back up is very slow but it does work, read rate seems to go from zero to fast, then again zero to fast etc.
You need to watch for Log section of harddisk sentinel for entries like this:- ''27/10/2023 13:57:40,#197 Current Pending Sector Count 8 -> 0 26/10/2023 19:01:36,#197 Current Pending Sector Count 0 -> 8'' This is a very minor error, but make sure it does not increase in number as it very likely will do. That will show the drive is close to failing.
my heath SSD drive is 20% but in S.M.A.R.T tab there is no inaccesssable sector marked with yellow icon only one row shows iwth green tick what should I do now in this case ?
Bad sectors going to be hidden by the software preventing datas to be put in there, so yeah your HDD capacity would be reduced but those wouldn’t be usable anyways Without this your windows/linux/whatever going to access those bad sectors and might going to cause corruptions during mid copying and waste your time
