I recently bought a Used Freakaster Tele at a Guitar Center , Amazing Looking - Feeling - Playing - Sounding Guitar that is Built Great I own a Few Custom Shop Fenders and it’s literally looks like a Master Built Fender , Amazing pickups also .. How much was your Strat ? I don’t need another guitar but now I’m looking to get one of His Strats like Yours
Hey, do you still have your candy apple eric johnson stratocaster. I’ve been looking everywhere for this guitar. Would you be willing to sell the guitar? I completely understand if not 🤣
I sold this guitar to a friend and regret it to this day! I've had another guitar with the same pickup since and I'm sure I will have another one in the future. Love that tone of the mini humbucker in the neck position.
Just ordered a set to go in a Gretsch I recently got. I’m anxious to try them out! I have Mojotone pickups in a couple other guitars and they are great.
Just got mine in today and it's pretty awesome! He had a Dakota Red, a Blue one, and a Sunburst one so I chose the Dakota Red one because it's a nice red and the fretboard just looked nice, dark, and vintage looking with the clay dots. It definitely sounds and plays better than my Fender AVII 1961 Strat (which I'm selling now), the pickups are clearer and sound like they push my amp better than the Fender's. I also like the relic job on it too, just enough to look cool without too much wear. All I have to do is put new strings on it and it'll be good to go!
I’m thinking about getting one of these, but I’ve just got a question. In this video when you’re playing single notes on the A and E strings, is that fret buzz I hear or is that just how it plays?
One of the best tones on that overdrive channel like at 3:35. It comes through even here is some camera mic bleed. It sounds much like on the Thomann example page where standard but pretty expensive signal chain is used. I like the easy playing high compression tones and that sounds like one. When it comes to price and tone I would pay 250€ for superb tone over any cheap price but this really sounds so good I would grab it despite suspectible low 30€ tag. I mean with distortion pedals price does not actually necessary correlate with good tone because used analog technology which is responsible for the distortion - opamps, diodes, transistors - is very cheap and only the composition makes the difference.
Hi, thanks for the video, it helped me understand how these guitars sound, I'm actually looking for the Stanford CR Thinline 30 VB model because I like it better in the natural version, I wanted to ask you in your opinion which is the best and if there are differences in sound between yours and the natural model that I would like to take, thanks

@@BartDietvorst how many weight has the guitar? Is comfortable? The body is big? More than a telecaster or strato? I m worried about the bridge, the resonance and tone comes from bridge and nut never from pick ups. It came you in good string calibration?
@@Folkgrunge I don't have this guitar anymore so don't know about weight. The body is slightly bigger than a telecaster I'd say but the guitar in total is about the same length. My experience is that Harley Benton guitars always need a good setup and decent strings when you buy them.
