If you look through the cards, you'll see a mission card that refers to a lab, and "Dr. James Cunningham". That's actually me, due to my production sponsorship level for the making of this game, I won the privilege of having my name included as an NPC in the game... and yes, I do actually hold a doctorate, which made it very special for me. ANYWAY... I just want to thank you for this excellent video; it is one of the top best and most coherent presentations of the Game. I've seen many game-play videos of Destiny Aurora, and they made it so complicated that even I was confused. The guys who put this game together - (who also had a hand in the incredible movie STAR TREK: RENEGADES and its sequel RENEGADES: THE REQUIEM ... hence the name "Destiny Aurora: RENEGADES") - are simply brilliant and really poured their hearts into this. I'm proud to have my name on it.
I just buyed thish and played it tonight but I'm glad I got to see the rules fully explained in 3 videos I understand it now and you can increase the difficulty of it making it more interesting then how it plays and add handy caps or other things I seen a videos were they put the mystery items on the board making it interesting and when you land on a mystery box it opens up or you can get them as you land on a new title and make a new road for your character defintly interesting macnics glad I buyed thish cause so far it's a solid game even tho me and my family played it in a wierd way with different rules
It's not just 2 money for the good. 2 money is the cost just to transport the good. The price of the good itself is indicated at the top of the board. For the basic goods it is 4, meaning the total cost is 6
On that pink tile you mention you can't place adjacent different colors with no wall bu you actually did that pink to green... Was that a legal move or just distraction?
Great refresher video, I love this game. Quick clarification, you need two actual secret location cards (that say 'secret' at the bottom), not secret item cards, in order to enter the sarcophagus. The secret item cards are just bonuses.
Thank you for this- is "side stepping" something a player does in response to being marked? Meaning red player marks a yellow player... yellow player steps out of the way. Red player can continue with another action? Any clarification is appreciated- this is a rule I'm having trouble finding the answer to.
Thank you for the great explanation. Please let me point out a small errata: @5:40 Any player with presence on the city can declare a festival. Height of the incas is not relevant for that action.
On turning over the Guardian everybody draws 6 additional cards to their hand(?) giving a hand of potentially 11ish cards then discard any 2 or 2 of the 6 you just picked up giving a hand of say 9 cards to battle the Guardian? hoping someone can answer the question as the rules are not clear. Thanks :)
I was about to say the same but man I wish you could. I love Tails but it feels like he’s by far the weakest in the roster as far as getting bonus flickies…
But what does the numbers on the dice mean for the wildlings ? Do they start at the camp and just get filtered into clearings ? I’m just confused about wildling movement and what about mammoths b
