After a lot of grind, I was finally able to black skull Ravine. Here are some tips using this guide: When placing the first 3 darts, place the middle bottom one first. This way you can check if you can place a dart next to it later before placing the other 2. Buying the Wizard on round 30 and get it to 3-0-0 mid 31 saves the glue on the right side and ensures that 31 doesn't leak randomly When placing the Wizard, there should be a hand poking out under the tree. The tree moves a bit, the hand should peek out when its swaying to the right. (I died a couple of times because of Wizard projectile RNG...) Placing the glue gunner and 2 darts+cape after round 38 for more consistency on 39 42-44-46 must be glued, so I just glued on each of those rounds to not take any risks Post 50 is pretty free if you follow the guide step by step
Thank you very much. I had a little bit of a scare on round 66 on the right side where all of my spike traps disappeared. I also must of misplaced some things since I was about 1000 cash behind after round 80 or so.
After applying the round 30-50 changes in the poster's comment, I was able to black border. Would definitely recommend this strat. Lategame was really easy (I did a gold border run first to test it out, totally screwed up Gerry level 20 restock but still didn't die at all) which I appreciate a lot. Follow the guide as precisely as possible. Take your time with the earlygame placements, once you've got the robos it's smooth sailing. If you get impatient and restart over and over due to bad placements you're just wasting your time. r7 if you're struggling, it's because of your bottom dart placement. It should be all the way up, but not all the way right. Moving it 1 pixel to the left from where I had been made it work every time for me. r40 putting the maelstrom slightly higher seems safer r42 the wiz rng is horrible, it leaks very often and sometimes on both sides so one spike isn't enough. In addition to the glue, 1 spike pile on the left exit and 2 spikes on the right exit works every time and isn't too expensive. r74 I strongly recommend pickling the top robo, I've died to the BFB otherwise r90 I placed 2 turrets on the left and 2 on the right (still all in range of both villages) instead of his 3/1 split but it doesn't matter r94 I also upgraded village to 302 but it doesn't matter r100 the boomer never snipes the zomg for me but with the Gerry items I never died so it's fine With the extra purchases there will be a couple times you buy an upgrade right after a round starts but you still afford everything easily and it doesn't cause deaths so who cares. I've still got a Bloody gold border from back when mauler spam was meta (the r98 was really inconsistent) so I'll be following your guide to BB it next. Thanks!
this worked well. on r84 it looked close and i had to use psi's 2nd ability. but it was not a problem. also one of my boats was not in range of permabrew, didnt cause problems.
did this first try even though i made some very small mistakes 0 micro and no mid round bullshit makes this the best tutorial rn for me you definetly deserve a like man
you're the king, I had to place my first moab press on the left side of g-lord because the village couldn't reach far enough on the right but still beat it easily
Hey Sleeping Axolotl, I have been seeing your videos on your channel, I really like these videos, but I wanna know what recording software you use that has no lag. I have tried some recording systems, but some have a recording limit, and I have obs studio but there are times the recording would lag a LOT. What recording system do you use that consist of almost no lag?
Thanks to you, I was able to get the chimps medal on this map and Bloody Puddles, which I consider to be the hardest expert maps, so thank you for making guides like this you're a real one!
I kinda hope NK expands on early game options. It sucks that on harder maps, it's consistently a grindy, often RNG-based mess, and sometimes doesn't even have multiple ways to start, compared to the lategame where it's much more skill based with abilities and the like (although this run doesn't use them)
To be fair, it was so much worse months ago. Boat price reduction opened the door to significantly easier starts in muddy puddles, and was the thing that made R15 bloody possible no micro
R93 consists of a very specific setup, if you do anything extra on the right hand side you will lose. Robo on the right should only have pickles and nothing more
Insane this is the most consistent strategy bro thanks a lot. It still took me a while coz I kept forgetting little things HAHA but that's personal skill issue. Thanks again
