Have lived this life. Consider myself one lucky person. Horses are my blood, my life. My love. Without a horse, you're empty inside.

You are far younger in appearance through moving pictures. Omigosh, you'd both be as sprite as 17 if we were re-introduced face to face. This onlooker was impressed. : )

I covered this program for an article I wrote an Eventing blog called Eventing Nation (do a search for Eventing Nation RRTP recap by Mary Getsey Bernier, and you'll find the entire article). I don't know how long it took to sell Brazilian Wedding, get in touch with the owner, Pat Dale, Three Plain Bays farm . You can also reach Brazilian Wedding's trainer, Eric Dierks. He lives in NC, and he still trains and sells horses. Search for all of them, and you'll find their web sites.

Just out of curiosity... How long did it take to sell Brazilian Wedding after this? Do you still train Thoroughbreds for resell?

@80smgbme sorry, I should have said, "no." Other than their racetrack training, the only training they had was off the track, prior to starting their 5 week training with the trainers in this program.

@mdgrl56 That's right, most were straight from the track, within about a month when the program started 5 weeks ago, at the Maryland Horse World Expo. Do a Google search on "Retired Racehorse Trainers Challenge" and you'll find the RRTP website, and can read all about it. Too long to explain here, and RU-vid won't let me embed their web address. The Chronicle of the Horse also did two excellent detailed articles about the project, from start to finish.
