Rare Cancers Australia (RCA) is a leading for-impact charity that works to improve the lives and health outcomes of Australian patients, carers and families affected by a rare or less common cancer diagnosis.

We do this through:

• Patient support - we provide personalised practical, emotional and financial assistance to the rare cancer patients, carers and families of today.

We help patients access specialists, treatments and research opportunities. We also deliver support groups, connect people with services and assist with fundraising.

• Advocacy - we drive meaningful change for the rare cancer patients, carers and families of today and tomorrow.

We help rare cancer patients gain access to the treatments they need, and develop strong partnerships and work to influence policy in order to increase survivorship rates and patient participation in decision-making at all levels.

Seven years since my proton treatment and I am doing well! My new normal is very doable. The proton machine projected to be built in the SAHMRI building in Adelaide has unfortunately come to a halt but there should still be a chance to get funding from MTOP for treatment overseas.

There is always a missing part of someone’s story. Hope you had supported those who cried when they knew you have been diagnosed, who tried to make it worked for you and who accommodated your circumstances just to make your life at that time brighter. Good luck with your future, and remember to light up other people life even if it is against your target.

People fail to mention the fact that dental is inaccessible to most poor in Australia. I don't have cancer but I have osteoporosis for 33 years, my teeth are failing and to get dentures there is no government support. I have to cover the cost on my own.

Hi I have a couple of questions. 1) How do we know the mRNA code is for sars cov 2 and nothing else that may trigger an unwanted response or to drive some type of agenda for future purposes? Is there proof and even if it was a different code, would it work to achieve a purpose? 2) Now on one other video you mentioned how the mRNA is unstable and usually breaks down after 72 hours have passed, does that mean there can be no long-term side effects since its been essentially flushed out of the body or can the process which it fulfilled cause something years down the track we still do not know about, like in the case of covid. Thanks

Hi Abduli, thank you for your questions. Here are the responses from Dr Emily. 1) The mRNA in the COVID-19 vaccines is very precisely coding the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, based on the genetic sequence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The only agenda is, like other vaccines, to familiarise your immune system with the COVID-19's appearance (without its harm) - so that your body can mount a quicker immune response when you are infected and your body encounters the real virus. This is a good paper to explain how mRNA works: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8071766/, and this is a good explanation of the history of these vaccines: news.mit.edu/2020/rna-vaccines-explained-covid-19-1211 2) When we're talking about long-term side effects, vaccines in the 1, 2 or booster doses, are very different from medicines that people take every day for months or years. Unlike many medications taken regularly, which can cause long-term problems like medication build-up, vaccines are usually 'one-and-done'. And these mRNA vaccines are designed to deliver a fragment of the virus' genetic code (like all vaccines), and then they degrade and are eliminated very rapidly. mRNA vaccines work like an instruction manual. For COVID-19 vaccines, that handbook tells the cell how to create a piece of a “spike protein” that’s unique to SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). The vaccine can’t cause COVID-19 infection itself, because it doesn’t carry the actual, live virus - the mRNA encodes only for the spike protein found on the surface of the virus. The spike protein is harmless by itself. Once the body creates that spike protein using the mRNA instructions, the body quickly breaks down those mRNA strands and they dissipate within a few hours or days after injection. The mRNA never enters the nucleus of any cell (where the DNA is located), it doesn’t affect any genetic material in the body, and the mRNA strands are removed from the body through everyday cellular processes. With every single vaccine in history, all side effects have appeared within the first 6-8 weeks. Because they're just stimulating an immune response by your own body, the vaccine itself is always eliminated and doesn't cause any build-up or long-term effects. We've now seen billions of mRNA vaccine doses administered over the last 9 months, and no long-term side effects have even been flagged as a possibility.

That is just a lie!!! There is no data on the long term effects of the covid 19 vaccines because they have been developed and administered in less than 1 year while it normally takes between 5 and 10 years before a vaccine gets approved. There is a valid reason for this and it has absolutely nothing to do with red tape. Maybe watch the content below which is an interview including the man that developed the tech that is used in the covid 19 vaccines. Listen to what he says on this matter!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Du2wm5nhTXY.html

Hi Frank, thanks for your comment. While safety monitoring continues, as is standard practice with all vaccines, the Pfizer and AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) following completion of all safety trials - including phase I, II and II clinical trials. You are correct - ensuring we have enough data and research to make evidence-based decisions on the safety and efficacy of vaccines is extremely important. We have this when it comes to these COVID-19 vaccines. It comes in the form of many years of research into techniques that act as a vehicle for vaccines like the more than 15 years of data on mRNA, and real world experience and findings from the tens of millions of COVID-19 cases worldwide - a phase III trial for a vaccine typically uses evidence from cases in the tens of thousands. In this process, the science has not been fast-tracked. The administration and funding processes behind it have been accelerated and unfortunately, this has been due to urgency of which we are needing to act against a virus that spreads so rapidly. It is also important to note that it does not take five to 10 years to get a vaccine approved. Most phase-III vaccine trials follow up volunteers for 12 months. It is also due to the fast acting nature of our immune systems that scientists are confident in progressing to the next stage of trials and approval for vaccines as side effects can usually be seen within the first few months of vaccination. You can find out more information about how the COVID-19 vaccines have been tested and approved in Australia on the Australian Government's website: www.health.gov.au/initiatives-and-programs/covid-19-vaccines/learn-about-covid-19-vaccines/how-covid-19-vaccines-are-tested-and-approved?fbclid=IwAR1GqB6PzeemVV3lVGbelKigr4KvfBwCSWjyjpnP7pyhddZt_fRmA6hVanE

It is well known now, among people who research, that doctors are busy people who have been completely indoctrinated due to the influence of Big Pharma. Big-money controls the curriculum of the university medical courses and anyone to teaches at university knows to tow the line or risk their employment and their promotion.

RU-vid, Google and other parts of the mainstream media are censoring and vilifying legitimate scientists who are exposing the effects of the mRNA gene therapy injections.
@rarecancersaustralia

Thank you for your comments. While we appreciate people have varied views on the issue, there is a lot of confusion around the facts that require clarification. mRNA is not gene therapy. mRNA, or messengerRNA, is actually a messenger cell that's been in every living cell for billions of years. It is the 'messenger' protein that carries information in short 'messages' from your DNA in the nucleus of your cells out to the cytoplasm (the main part) of your cells, where all the proteins are assembled in order to carry out the many processes necessary for the body to function. mRNA instructions are timed to 'self-destruct' after they've been read and translated into proteins - as a safety mechanism to control the rate of protein production. In relation to COVID-19 vaccines, the Pfizer vaccine uses mRNA to introduce a message with a code which triggers the release of the coronavirus spike protein - just enough to get a person's immune system to generate antibodies that will protect them if they are later exposed to the real virus. After this, the mRNA is destroyed and eliminated from the body in less than 72 hours. In regards to your comments about censorship in the industry, we absolutely do not agree with this based on our first-hand experience with the way our medical colleagues practice each day.
