Chasing solar eclipses with rockets, among other things!

Wow those are some great shots, did you find that the camera could see the green better than your eyes? I found it easy to see the reds/pinks but the greens were not as vibrant and the photos I took! I'm from Van and could see it right from the city, but I know it looks even better with less light pollution, a friend in Squamish had some amazing photos.

Yes, the camera could see all the colors better but the greens looked more whiteish in my eyeswhen they were dim. The purples were easiest for me but I think that was partly because they tended to be brighter than the rest of the colors. Glad you got to see it too!

Thanks for posting this. We had overcast in Ontario, AGAIN, so missed the second awe inspiring celestial event in the last couple months.

Absolutely amazing! Would've loved to have seen it from up there. Hopefully, by the next solar maximum I'll be able to travel up north to truly see such an event myself.

This is incredible - being able to see the curvature of the Earth and the clouds from above. Definitely the best view in the house! Great work to all of you!!

Truly incredible video, I can’t believe you don’t have more views. I wonder if you’d get more traction if you edit it to only the time that you can see the shadow on the horizon and end when it disappears again. Title it something like, 360° View | The Solar Eclipse Shadow On Earth From (altitude)ft. I just really think this is dope and more people should see it haha but you kinda have to hunt down the shadow on the timeline.

How do rocket certifications work? Do you think you'll keep dropping $ to keep yours, or could you go on hiatus & pick up right where you left off by paying again when you're ready?

It's important to remember that not everything we reach for is possible. What's the point if it is? You sound happy with your decision, which probably means it was the right one, and I look forward to catching up on the rest of the project.
