This thing is immaculate. Love the video and style. Seeing the combination of custom fabrication and filmmaking just hits different. Gets me excited to work on my own stuff. Keep cracking on!
@@matthewjdouglas6471it's not just the gear, it's the skill. I got my pilots license before my drivers license and a few years later my helicopter license... Flying multi rotor drones is 100X more difficult. It took me almost a year of flying every day to get good enough for production work. And you never just have one of anything... More like 4-12 quads, 4 cameras and $1000 dollars of batteries on the "wear items" at any one time.
I'm amazed that those 30x30 escs being used for huge quads - like this one - aren't burning out. It's really a testament to their durability if they're holding up over time. I'm afraid to use that esc in an 8S 1300kv 7" that I've been planning for a while... maybe I should try it..
@@ScottTomlinson Wow. Aikon has always been good... maybe the ratings aren't total BS.. That will definitely save me money and time... Good experiment - thanks for replying - very helpful.
I did try haha, didn't make the video though as they'll feature in another vid soon. Batteries hated it though... Need some reallllly good packs and a lightweight craft for those props.
