Truly an inspiration. I went blind in my right eye a couple months ago from an eye stroke and was so afraid it meant the end of my days of playing golf I was very happy to see that I can still play the game and hit the ball almost as well as I did before. Of course now I have to have extra help to see where the ball goes once I hit it but that hasn't been a real issue so far as the golfers I have played with have been so patient and kind in helping. Ironically there were times before when I had two good eyes where I still had no idea where my tee shots went. So now with just the one eye.....oh well....nothing new there. hahaha......in some ways losing an eye has been a blessing as it tells me to not take my game so serious anymore. Just enjoy the fact that I can still get out there to play.
@@timnew7662 that is so inspiring!! I really appreciate this comment so much! Thanks for sharing this! It is amazing how we can adjust to life with impairment! Good on you!!!
Bloody awesome Chickie, that’s my local boat ramp. So glad you got at least one fish so you could have a go at filleting, To make it taste better take the skin off next time and that way you don’t have to scale it either 👍
Can still see your boyfriend lol 😊. Kidding. I will try to stop my barriers in life to live more n stop holding myself back. Asperger’s syndrome. I am isolated n similar anxiety. High functioning n depression.
You’re amazing thanks so much!!! So I have the Shimano rod with the Sienna 4000 reel it came in a combo! I think maybe 4-7kg! Got it from BCF!! Absolutely love it!
You're an inspiration to so many people to just get out there and try......one step at a time. BUT seeing you filleting that fisn made me cringe.......PLEASE always cut away from yourself or if you have to cut towards you, use the palm of your hand with your fingers curled upwards. Thank you for sharing!!!!!!
Tip. Use like the bags ya get veggies in from shop or freezer bags for the flour n crumb. Works great to even coat n less mess on hands n dishes. Liked the drone footage
The editing looks good, I wonder how long I took you to edit this video. I was just a bit worried when you're trying to fillet a fish, I've cut my fingers a few timem even with full vision 😅.
@@ChanelleMorris1 gotta say you've improved so much since the last video! Doing great working with the cards that you've been dealt! I love this content, its wholesome and simple.
Great video. For tents. Highly recommend the zempire range from bcf. They are inflatable so no poles needed except for the front awning thing and they go up pretty quick.
Your precious girl and so impressed watching you take on the most frustrating sport in the world, and doing it while legally blind. Amazing to say the least and you’ve given me hope going forward as I’m also a passionate golfer who’s eventually going blind. Keep doing these short inspirational golf outing’s whenever possible.
Thanks so much for sharing this! It’s great to connect with others facing similar challenges! I’m so sorry to hear that about your vision! You’re so inspiring yourself going out and playing golf!!
