I am a rollercoaster enthusiast and I hope to get successful with meme videos and of course rollercoasters.I was previously known as the coaster cringe and the coaster editz but it has changed to theme park escape. I love theme parks such as alton towers, thorpe park and plopsaland. I have a go pro to record povs and rider cams aswell as make vlogs when I go to theme parks. Get ready to Escape!
@@ThemeParkEscape_ It is. Symbolica is one of the weaker dark rides the park has to offer. Carnaval Festival is meant to be a karikature of the world, and was the cheapest darkride of the park. It's called Carnaval Festival because it simulates the Dutch carnaval parades held when the Carnaval festivities ate held in The Netherlands. But I guess, it is confusing for international guests.
In 2015 June 2nd at Alton towers on the ride 'the smiler' a spare carrige emtpy to go on a test run but they didnt wait for it to come back. That day there were 46mph winds which means the smiler was already unsafe. So when a small issue happened they told everyone to get off the ride they would end up wait for 30 minutes. The test carrige failed a loop meant it was just rocking there without anyone knowing. 2 people thought thatthey werent going to wait 30 minutes so they would go on another ride and then come back and thats how just 2 people escaped the tragedy of the smiler. But for the rest they waited and got on the ride. For the first half of the ride everything went smoothly until they got to a place up high and stopped because 2 carriges arnt allowed on the same chunck of tracks. They then went on to sit up there for 8 minutesnot knowing what was happening. Then one of the ride operators got a notification that it just was sitting up there. He went to check where the 4 carriges were there because he was never told about the 5th one that never came back on a test run. So he thought it was a little issue sending the carrige off straight towards the stuck carrige. They then flew into that carrige and kept banging into eachother until they practically fused together there in the front row there were four people who got the worst outcome the 2 girls in the middle both lost a leg. And one of the boys on that front row had his finger DONT READ IF YOUR SQUEAMISH dangling off. He said if he wanted to he could pull it off then and there.People in the back suffered from whip lash and a mother and daughter had something haped too i the second row. They hen sat there FOR 20-50 MINUTES SCREAMING IN PAIN PASSING IN AND OUT OF CONCIOUSNESS until some one called 999 it took several hours to get everyone out and Alton towers was closed for 5 days after the incident and the smiler was closed for 9 months. Now smiler is safer then ever and they have millions of saftey procautions.
It was all human fault. The ride sensors said there was a train on the track and the operators overrode it. They didn’t go check to see if one was actually there. It got stuck because of their fault too, it was too windy for it to be operating, but they still operated it.
