Welcome along to what was the bus channel but is now the home of our travel vlogs for when we go around the country photoing buses, trains, planes or any type of transport we can get our hands on
Travel vlogs go up every Sunday, unless there are loads of them and we upload probably twice a week if we feel like it and you'll also get links to the Transport Hub whilst you are there
Great vlog with Tico on the snow hill lines down to Stourbridge Ian. I like to do that section when there diverts or an interesting locomotive coming through.
BEST THING TO DO IN HOT WEATHER. DAY BEFORE TRAVEL GET A 2 LITRE BOTTLE OF WATER TIP OUT AN INCH FROM THE TOP. PUT BOTTLE IN FREEZER AND IT SHOULD FREEZE OVERNIGHT. THE MISSING INCN SHOULD ALLOW BOTTLE TO EXPAND WITH OUT BURSTING. JUST BE FORE YOU SET OFF PUT BOTTLE INSINDE A CARRIER BAG AND THEN PUT INSIDE ANOTHER BAG. PUT THAT INSIDE A RUCKSACK AND AWAY YOU GO. JUST LET THE FROZEN WATER THAW OUT NATURALLY WHYILST TAKING A FEW SIPS OUT WHEN NEEDED.
Honestly I don't blame you for getting water in that heat, it's too hot for me even when the temperatures reach mid 20's. The Southeastern networkers are awesome. :)
to be honest out of all those stations South Kenton is def the best station for trainspotting & its a brilliant station & i love that stretch of the WCML as you could spend hours there & sometimes you can catch something intresting & its nice to see you ride 390104 brilliant vlog
Always lovely to see 323 221. That was not a very sensible thing of that london underground driver to cover their face up. Shame about the vegetation spoiling views at stations as well. It's nice to see you got a ride on 390 104 on the return journey. :)
Great vlog Ian. Not done these stations via Warrington yet and I think you might have put me off with what happened with you and the youths at Halewood. Sorry to hear about that. I enjoyed watching anyhow.
There seems to always be disruption originating from WCML south doesn't there? lol That water at Kidsgrove does remind me of the chocolate river in Charlie and the Chocolate factory lol
Kidsgrove is def a lovely station & i did Kidsgrove last year while doing a Cheshire day Ranger & i used Stoke On Trent too & again its a lovely station & i wouldnt mind doing Stoke & Longport at some point brilliant vlog
I've never rode the Glasgow Subway myself, I will have to try it out sometime. Ticket machines being broken and it's the only option available, it deffo wan't a good idea to close the ticket offices. I'd certainly be worried about seagulls being around lol.
all the stations in this vlog look like lovely stations & nice to see the 380s again & they are great trains & nice to see you ride the first pendolino 390001 brilliant vlog
Great vlog video in Scotland Ian. Nice to catch colas rail 70 hauling the tanks through Dalry. Thanks for sharing, sir and have a good weekend. All the best, Arnold
Great vlog Ian. I don’t film trains in thunderstorms lol I hide only experienced one thunderstorm while at a station and that was Marston green last year.
im loving all the stations & brilliant shots of the ScotRail Pride train which looks amazing shame i didnt see the pride train when i was in Scotland back in May but anyway brilliant video
Streetdecks really early in the morning? Deffo don't want that lol. And being scared of the rain, to be fair I just hide in a sheltered area if the rain gets too bad.
im liking all the stations on the GWR mainline & i def agree about the fencing at Slough & they have recently put some up at Maidenhead aswell but i get why they are there & brilliant shots of all the pride trains as i love it when a pride train joins the party & brilliant shot of the London Pride bus & it looks amazing its a shame theres only 1 but i would love to see more pride buses in London anyway brilliant vlog
I did travel out of Slough station at the end of 2005 when getting out of a breakdown on the M25 and I can agree it was better without the fence which I think is unatractive for a station that serves a major town. You did a good job at getting those pride liveries as well, shame you've had to cancel some stations at the end though. Also water in a can? I didn't think that was a thing at all.
all the stations on the Fife Circle line are lovely & this is a love;y scenic line to ride as ive ridden as far as Kalcady & i smashed Dalmany Inverkeithing & Haymarket which are awesome stations to film trains & he forth bridge is stunning & shame 170428 showed up unlucky for me i saw 428 when i was in Scotland but good thing i only saw it once & glad i didnt ride that train brilliant vlog
Not good when you're just about to start filming and street decks and lites show up lol. You know I'm gonna have to do the Kenny O/ Imperial Wharf line sometime, I've not done it yet.
im liking all the stations on that stretch & brilliant shots of the Pride London Overground trains Freight & the class 73 & 47s which all look amazing brilliant vlog
0:05 Wow, what a good start to the vlog 😂😂. Excellent video on the West London Line Ian and nice to catch the statesman at West Brompton plus a water train at Kenny O. It would be cool to see 59s on that line but shame they're not there but all well you can't win them all 🤷♂️.
