The Proclaimers are a Scottish band composed of identical twin brothers Charlie and Craig Reid. They are best known for the songs "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", "Sunshine on Leith", "I'm On My Way" and "Letter from America". The band tours extensively throughout the world. They have released nine studio albums from 1987 until the present, as well as two compilation albums and a DVD. In 2011, the band had a notable achievement in Scotland when two of their tracks, "Sunshine on Leith" and "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", were featured on Scotland's Greatest Album (2011).
The tears in my eyes are lit with joy the short photography inspired memories of places and people and balanced times skint as we were and of course skint as we are now, yet to be elevated to a time coupled with immense singer/songwriters as these two brothers..stay as one there is so much potential ..the surface of modern history has been raised. Love this, I remember early 80's staying in Edinburgh with flatmates and working as a temp secretary at Henry Robb shipbuilders in Leith. Sadly my job was typing out the redundancy letters to the ship builders and watching the final ship launch

And what it also does, is tap into some fundamental things about being in a relationship. It's never too late to heal, and yes, I was greeting like a wain over it. So there's two of us.
I lost my mum just before Christmas! Just flicking over the TV channels and I see Bob and Paul, Gone fishing, with this song playing!…..I broke down! I’m writing this with tears just pouring down my face!……..Thanks for everything you’ve done for me mum! I’m going to miss you! God bless! 😢
