I'm 11 and I had my first iPad when I was 4 but I never watched skibidi things, ohio or whatever they are while my school is saying skibidi doi all the time. I hate all of this when I was 5 I watched mlp not skibidi
It's crazy to me that some millenials genuinely think Gen Zers never played outside as kids... Under how many levels of delusion do you need to be to reach that conclusion? Also, what are we even fighting over? Millenials and Gen Z are one of the generational pairs with the narrowest gap between them. We should form an alliance (speaking from an early Gen Zer's perspective)
I will give my POV Gen Z dominated and currently has the throne on the internet Half of them liked their Gen X parents and that's why Gen X is not as slandered as the Millenials But now we're on the same warzone as Millenials once were, fighting kids that don't care about what you think while also fighting your previous generation thinking they're worse than you It's nothing more than a cultural battle of things we colectivelly enjoy because of age And it's happened to every generation in the past, present and future We can make the change, tell this to Alphas and make peace treaty to call the next generation Sigma, laugh it off and move on, they're not that different from us, they just speak weird and like anybody, they'll grow up and think "we were so cringe when we were kids, but we were happy" just like we're doing now
As a Gen Z, I don't really see this point of view anymore, I am more interested in seeing the perspective of people and seeing how it works when I do it. I've experienced PSP 4, Playstation 3, Xbox, Gameboy, that transparent colored designed device that looks cool, I've experienced using the old white PC, GTA San Andreas, Encarta, teachers teaching us how to use browser and search, the 1st release of iPhone touch screen, 1st release of Samsung touch screen, the bakugan, pokemon era, Yu gi Yo, OG cartoons. I don't think I am more diffrent to Millenials, I can relate to some of their things, because we took their slang and understand how it works, and made our own, same with Gen ALPHA.
Just assimilate yourself with the nature. I never worried about chasing the waves. Poops are still great, and some channels since then are the same, but open up with new things now that I'm not looking at them just for laughs. FilmCow is interesting.
I find it so fascinating, being able to watch phases and trends in my own life analyzed in hindsight. I am born in 1996 and I still dress like it is 2016-2018. I have never been very trend focused, and more or less just subconsciously adapted that way to dress in my early 20s, based on the environment around me. Then, being so focused on studies and my career, I never really noticed the "trend" had changed until videos like this started appearing and I started looking at people around me.
So 5 years ago we were all still entitled lazy children and now we're all cringeworthy boomers? Yeah, f*ck that, idc I literally lead the same life as then, just working instead of studying from home.
