Swedish Vallhunds were originally bred as a General Purpose Farm dogs - primarily for herding cattle in Swedish Homesteads, but also with sheep, for vermin control & as watchdogs. We like to maintain there working abilities on a Smallholding, as we feel this is vital to the breed in the UK that 'Form Follows Function' & that our dogs are 'Fit for Purpose' ....... They also love to do what they do!
