Getting up would be relatively chill. It’s the coming down part that I would not like. I’d honestly prefer to base jump off even though you can’t even remotely do that.
Yah not really the right use of equipment guys . although you are 100% tied off...there is side loading on your carabiners which is bad . watch slide load video tests on youtube you will see that they snap easy if used the way in your video. 2:09

I'm thinking a service person climbing up there doesn't have a problem taking a pee at the top of a 1700 foot tower as it will evaporate or be mist on its way down, but if they need to poop, does it burn up in the atmosphere like a meteorite before it hits the ground?🤣LOL
Ya know I would not mind climbing these towers if you only could use a parachute to glide back down! You would Just had to be careful of the wind and which side of the tower to jump off of? Wonder if anyone has ever tried it?
I realize you're tied off, but even if you fell a little, seems like those rusted out panels are a huge cutting risk..either you or the climbing gear. Seems like they should have made them from aluminum or stainless. Or perhaps the galvanizing was bad?
