Lived through that million acre fire in Northern California. Prior to that, for six months out of the year, I was the only one in a 30-mile circle in a place called Warner Valley, just south of Lassen National Park, almost directly on its border right there (for three years) Sad to see that fire come through; yet that remote experience was amazing for me in terms of “something a lot of ladies & gentlemen could dream of… yet societally think you cannot (albeit tech is shrinking the world:) • I lived a few years rainforest West Africa post university in a mud home… off grid etc. • Something about your location; isolated high sierras where I was peaked an appreciation [not just your gifts of artistic skills] loving photography myself. • All of the above to relay and empathize • having had isolation experience (not quite so vivid) yet still pretty amazing by oneself in that amount of snow via snowmobile • I just wanted to encourage and sell your success that others can live incredibly variable lives still than “expected paths.” • DO IT • Or experience what this couple has achieved! I just moved to the Northwoods of MN “post watching that beloved Warner Valley Burn Black” I just moved to the Northwoods of MN.. I’m afraid to see the distance from here to there and I hope many people read this plea… How much longer can we experience the dreams I had a a child.
