Variety is the spice of life. We do Walkthrough style content as well as Let's Plays, How To Guides, First Impressions & more for every video game that interests me. Come along for the ride. :)
This is the character I've been most interested in. I loved the Support in Monday Night Combat, and Mei was my favorite character by a landslide in Overwatch. I feel like this character is the best of both worlds. So this video was extra handy for me.
Really enjoyed the macro, thank you for the go ahead to just shut up and farm. Deadlock is really an oppertunity for us to all examine our fps and moba skills and bring the communities together.
Hey Pally! Super excited to see you dive into Deadlock, it's been super fun both playing and watching. There are 2 shops in the middle of the map that never go away. When you're high health and don't need the base healing, they're a great option to buy and keep pressure on the map.
Hi Pally! Used to watch every single HotS video of yours back in the day. Haven't really kept up with HotS, but I was super excited to see your last deadlock video pop up in my recommended, and I am really excited to see more deadlock content in the future!
I'm so glad you're playing this game! It's amazing and addictive and there's nothing better than seeing my favorite streamer playing my favorite game. I'd be awesome to see you and Trikslyr duo together! A couple of suggestions from my time in Deadlock- Your ult is great at taking the level 3 merc camps early- it nearly clears all 3 by itself; also, the buffs that spawn on the middle bridges at 10 min are super strong if you get them right when they spawn. Inhibitor as an item is stellar with ricochet as it slows them AND lowers their outgoing damage. I love the way you're playing deadlock it's the same way I do. If you like this playstyle, Seven is really good at it too. Build him spirit power and drop his 1 to clear level 1 and 2 mercs by itself. Drop it and walk away, soooo fast I got 86k souls one game on him doing that
Body check used to be way different. I think back in the day, it scaled in damage based on your armor value? So it worked with the double up talent to give you a bigger burst of damage by having a huge amount of armor
That was, indeed, a damage Muradin. Also, D.Va should have swapped places with you during most of that game. Clearing lanes should never be the warchief job.
why is Pally talking about Double Up working against a Pyroblast? Armor does not reduce spell damage, no? That's what Spell armor is for, right? or did I get that wrong?
28:57 why tf would you even consider throwing a muradin which 100% has his jump? He will just jump out. Meanwhile you dont see valla on the minimap so there is a very big likelyhood she will follow her team (aka her tank muradin) Instead of throwing their tanks and bruisers you need to focus on throwing their squishy heroes. All you had to do is keep standing in the bush wait for valla. First taunt her so she cant press any buttons then immediately throw her in and she dies. since she is taunted for 2 seconds. Then again i dont expect a high level bronze player to understand this. Pally you suck
Just a observation, you usually had a lot of uses of bodycheck leftover that could have been weaved in, since you have 2 baseline. For example every time leoric creepy hand was on you, it could have reduced his sustain a lot and in many situations, just slowing someone would have been the setup needed to get a kill.
Idk why but I never liked gammers who use jargon it just comes off in my mind like they're trying to sound like military people but all they're doing is playing a game it's like. Oh I got to go up kill that guy come back buy stuff not. Yeah I got to send the outfit to the Delta come back with the beta foxtrot that guy. It's not that I'm saying this person should change their way of playing or talking. Just something that seems to irritate me. It's in a sense making something more important than it is
I think the simple truth is that the level 20 upgrade is very specific for it to be useful, it increases the heal reduction and adds another charge, but not like that stacks on the same enemy. Although, this game might be the one were its good, funnily enough.
You can drag the activatible talents around on the upper toolbar, right? So you could still use muscle memory on 2 for Undomitable after swapping it for Body Check, I think.
Any chance of you doing a deep dive on Thrall? I know youve previously said he hasnt been a character that has really clicked with you. But i feel that if you take the time youd really like him as a poking diving bruiser
I remember that. It was all I did playing as Hammer. I'm kinda glad they can't be destroyed anymore until the whole fort comes down. That was a good change even if you can't harass them anymore
I was going to say that the fact you didn't go for the talent that gives you W cooldown on hero hit is just sad. W build is just necessary if you're going to be melee so much.
