This is our story. We closed our animal rescue & horse ranch & took the plunge into being a fulltime Rver in June of 2016. Please follow us on our adventures in the rambulance. Rambi is a 2000 Ford E450 with 7.3 diesel engine. We hit the road in October of 2022 in the rambulance. Hubby, me and our rescue dogs Trini and Sam. Trini is a labradoodle and Sam is a schnauzer mix. We lost Trini to cancer on November 15th, 2023. It was a devastating loss as she was my heart and service dog. I also help rescue dogs & work with rescues as we travel the country. Animal rescue is my passion. Snail mail: Marianne Parker 514 Americas Way #7272 Box Elder, SD 57719 Please follow us along on our adventures.
Good for you! I have 5 dogs… all strays. A Pomeranian, a Maltese, a Great Pyrenees, a Brown Terrier (hit by a car), and a PitBull Lab mix… food and vet is expensive but we make it.
Lived there up until 1959 at that time it was a little town with a drugstore that sold the best ice cream and root beer floats . There is so much more history to that town . Went to grade school there and some of my best day. My younger sister and I just went back about a 8 months ago and little has changed . Lots of memories there. 😊 Norma Valenzuela
Question after putting many miles on and being in rambulance a while would you select an ambulance again if I remember rambulance gets like 10 mpg I do enjoy seeing your adventures thanks to you both for sharing them
What else can you do but smile, laugh, take a deep breath and keep on keeping on...I've had those days for sure. This morning I jamed my drawer shut and now I can't get it open...not quite your day but frustrating. Safe travels and hope to see you and Mike once you're settled in back up here in the north east. Be well. Peace~ Jack
You drove through E Motel Dr. which basically has nothing. You gotta drive through Main Street to see what we do have in the town. Might not be alot but the town does have some stores
I grew up there I’m the 1960’s. Small town then. Those abandoned buildings before the drive thru had bench seats in front. We’d seat with grandpa and listen to stories. Walk up the street towards I-10 to the general store, bubble gum and candy. We would walk for miles exploring the desert towards Esperanza. Church was peaceful. Great grandparents buried in cemetery there including aunts and uncles. Today I live far away in north Texas. I’ve been there since and yes it is deteriorating. There is also a port of entry to Mexico straight south on that main road where the wall is. Thank you for this video that popped up today. God Bless you. 🙏🏼
Yup. Minor fix this time. It's an old girl so not completely unexpected. We got a long haul coming up late April so hopefully everything is fixed and will be ready to go. Back out in the road tomorrow.
I say yes, share your love with another lucky four legged!!! Yes it is heartbreaking when they go, we have to always remember how much they enriched our lives and how we gave them a wonderful journey beside us. Trini would be happy to see you with another hiking partner!!!
