This video was a great find. Mom asked about this so I did a RU-vid search. Tell me, after blanching you still have to finish cooking the potatoes according to what type of dish you're preparing right? I'm guessing there's no way to freeze fully cooked potatoes, right? Any ideas on how to accomplish this? 🙏🏾

This is now my go-to recipe for Fricassée Tunisienne. The egg in the dough makes a difference in how it rises and how well it poofs up into the desired pocket while frying. I have only had success with this recipe and 1 other recipe for dough. The rest of them on YT do not translate well to American measurements and are disaster dough. My Tunisian in-laws loved that their American daughter-in-law surprised them with great Fricassée during our visit to their country. Bless you, dear. 😊❤
How do you reheat the potatoes for mashing? Do you thaw them overnight? Or boil/microwave them straight from the freezer? How long do you reheat them for? Thank you!
Hi, the potatoes are not fully cooked you still have to boil some water and throw them frozen inside that water until is fully cooked, if you thawed the potatoes they will turn brown

I am very new on this and let me tell you I’m learning a lot and I love it a lot. I am going to try a lot of the way you do with things because I am one person and I waste well. I don’t really waste, but I do freeze everything, but I noticed the way you freeze things and I’m gonna look into The containers Italian and they cook a lot for one person. It’s very hard because we were like a family of six and for being by one person it’s very hard.
I am glad that this video helped, I am not sure if they still sell those containers but even if they don’t just make sure you use containers big enough for the food you have to avoid having too much air in the container if that makes sense
