I left Slovenia 8 days ago & stayed for 6. The highlight was lake bled without a doubt. Like another world there. Must see also postojna cave which was unbelievable.

I have been to Ireland, North Ireland, Scotland (where dad is from), and Batanes... In all honesty, Batanes landscape is no where near like the other countries you mentioned. I personally think is looks a lot more like the Australian coastal countryside with its rolling green hills and mountain backdrop.
