I like the limitation that you added to the deck with no humans allowed, there are some glaring omissions that you could add to really send its power level through the roof. Nevinllyrals Disk and Boompile have both won multiple games in my Bello as they give you one sided boardwipes so long as you have the mana to recast Bello. Instead of Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast you could add things like Defense Grid and Price of Glory as they will cover far more avenues of interaction (not just blue ones). Manabarbs has been an MVP for my deck, often dishing out 15 damage or so on each opponent before even being animated by Bello and Dragonhawk, Fates Tempest is an amazing finisher having literally ended every game that it has landed for me
sick recommendations. pinned it so ppl can see them. we wanted to stick on them for bloomburrow but obviously I think it can be a tad bit more powerful if you added humanoid type of creatures as well but I like your picks 👌🏽
the precons are always great to have though. you never know when you need cards from it for other decks. I'd say if you have a decent collection it might be easier to get said commander but it's always nice to have the extra cards.
honestly a non-budget version would be better lands, fast mana, & big fatties w/ atk triggers/combat DMG triggers, but if you want to see where I'd take it as a non-budget lmk I'll post a link to a moxfield deck list. what price range were you looking for?
very cool commander and deck. What is the Clock of Omens combo you mention a few times? Training Grounds can make infinite colourless mana with an animated Basalt Monolith (it will only cost one mana to untap). The backside of Enigma Jewel can make infinite mana with BM too. Intruder Alarm and an animated mana rock that can cover LDV’s ability would let you draw through as much of your deck as you like too
Yeah the combo is with Urza, clock, Scrap Trawler, KCI, Myr Retriever, and the One ring to make infinite mana and draw your deck. I did not think of intrude or training grounds but I need to make some changes to this list because of the bans.
Great job! This makes me want to build Rendmaw instead of just using in 99. Appreciate the effort you took. This doesn’t feel like a lazy and basic generic throw in staple cards deck build like everyone else did. Really enjoyed this video and will be watching at least another four or five times.
It definitely sucks that it crushed the value of these cards, but does Wizards really looks at the decks that are being played and remove these to make a more balanced game for the community as a whole? And technically its just cEDH in tournament format... Don't most players play commander with friends, where proxys and bands are not strictly enforced. It's a shock, but i feel it will blow over in 30 days.
Nice video mate! As soon as I saw Aminatou I instantly build and ordered my deck just because of Disinformation Campaign (my favorite enchantment). So much value in this deck, it's insane. Also very hard to get rid off with the right support. Easily a Wincon.
Circle of solace is a great defense against ennemies in this deck. Plus, the main ennemy of this deck are token decks because you basically boost them. So cards like arachnigenesis, call the coppercoats or even grand crescendo are great against them. Additionaly, beast within and generous gift are great removal since they dont provide 3/3s no more, they give 2/2s
I was thinking about it more he can be good to set ip the draws but you will need cheap creatures you can cast to do that... manifesting the card doesn't work
you are completely right on compost. darn I'll make sure to note that in the primer on moxfield. I still would advocate for blood chief if your putting in mind crank. it should trigger pretty easily and still dole out a decent amount of damage.
I'm not a huge fan of shroud. especially when you have cards that'll animate your enchantments since it'll make your board State more vulnerable to board wipes. that's just me though it is a card that you can easily slot in.
Not gonna lie Edgar is my guy, Ive built orzhov vampires, rakdos vampires, and with Edgar i built mardu vampires, i used Angelo to build grixis vampires but I broke him down to make Edgar better.
My first thought when thinking of something to updrage this deck was something that includes more card draw and abuse the miracle aspect to cast the enchantments in opponents turns. Do you think that would be duable?
yeah since it triggers just on the card draw you can totally bypass timing restrictions on opponents turns. I did have rhystic study and mystic remora to help with those aspects. I just wanted to have "free" card draw because you still have to pay for the enchantments even though the mana is reduced. lmk what you come up with!
Panance already jumped in price... It's 5 dollars now. I swear, by the time I buy one It'll be 20... I even looked at it 1 week ago planing to get it. But how should I have expected for it to jump in price like this?? I guess I have to get it today or tomorrow before it's too late lmao
@@thescryguys3185 I rly don't know honestly. Do prices usually drop after a while when the precon is out? Considering it's such an old card I'm a little doubtful. And 5$ is reasonable considering how broken it is in this deck but my fear is that it's gonna get worse 😭
Nice! i watch so many videos about upgrande Aminatou and they seems forget the first rule of commandar, your deck need work without your commander, and you did it, you put a bunch of low cost enchantment
Enchanted Evening and Ondu + Token Producer do not result in an infinite loop (so doesn't draw the game). Ondu triggers only once each TURN, meaning you can only make a single copy a turn, so the copy that Ondu produces knows that Ondu was already triggered. It's still a strong combo tho. Ondu specifically says enter, not cast. So you could blink things like Archon of Suns Grace to make copies of it that, in addition, trigger eachother again. Which means for every nth time you blink Archon (or any other Token Producer) , you make n+1 additional Pegasus's... Pegasee? Horsies! Makes a lot of freaking clones still. :)
Ondu Spiritdancer enters the battlefield as an enchantment due to Enchanted Evening, Ondu Spiritdancer triggers, creating a token copy of itself. The new copy is a NEW entity & the once per turn is tied to that one card not each copy of itself that enters. Ondu once per turn clause is only for that card. it doesn't effect each ondu on the battlefield so my original statement works. I hope this clears it up. you can also search up ondu + enchanted evening combo to clear up any other misunderstanding you might have.
